Stayed here five days. Clean hotel and great location in old centre. But very expensive for what it is. Not a three stars. Breakfast very bad limited, showers do not work, I couldn't wash my hair, no kettle, no coffee or tea in room. We stayed in the mezzanine but no facilities ie cuttlery napkins plates cups and so on. Some of the staff quite cold, not to say anything else. Hospitality is badly missing. Want to however say thank you to Angela for arranging a birthday cake for my son at a cost as no restaurant in hotel. Pool times very limited closed 1pm at weekends. Would we stay again, definitely not, much better hotels at this price.

Massive room and nice staff. Breakfast was surprisingly boring. A slice of cheese or ham would have been great. The pool was cool, but the opening hours were so short and even with there only being 1 hour of evening swimming a day! The pool was still rented out and fully filled with a swimming team coming to rent it. Overall the hotel room was nice tho and location was great if you like the old town. It can feel a little dangerous though. There were so many ants in the room as well everywhere 😓 we were in room 413

Great location in the historic centre. A few minutes walk from Universita metro station - quite easy to get to if you arrive at the central train station/Piazza Garibaldi. Lots of restaurants and bars within 1-2 minutes walk. Narrow dark lanes might be a concern for more nervous travellers but are probably very safe. Cobbled streets could be an issue for less mobile visitors. Our room was pretty bare. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was fine, the WiFi was fast, it just didn't feel homely. Our room had an odd mezzanine balcony with a chair/fold-out bed at one end and a desk at the other - there were no other chairs, and I'm not sure why anyone would want to climb the stairs to sit surrounded by bare walls. So we just lay on the beds. Breakfast was pretty basic. Various cakes, white sliced bread with butter and jam, pineapple yoghurt, hard boiled eggs, two types of cereal, no milk. As many others have pointed out, this is not in any meaningful way a hotel with a swimming pool. I was travelling with kids and wanted a hotel with a pool so they could have a bit of fun after a long day travelling. Here are some bits of information that were absolutely NOT available on the website or when booking: - this is a public pool and gym with a small hotel added - the pool is for lane-swimming and lessons only - no fun allowed - on weekdays hotel guests were only allowed to use the pool between 0900-1300 and 2030-2130 (I forget the times at weekends) - we saw swimming lessons taking place in the morning, so even during those hours access for hotel guests is limited - swimming cap and "swimming slippers" are mandatory including for kids - you did bring these with you, right? In my opinion it's extremely dishonest to advertise and sell this as a hotel with a pool. I rechecked the website while we were there, so if management reply to this review claiming that it was all clear in advance - it wasn't, none of the above was stated. (In fact, their website shows a video of a man who is not wearing a swimming cap falling into the pool...) Reception staff were helpful. I didn't enquire about room service etc. The breakfast area looked like it doubles up as a cafe for pool- and gym-goers during the day - selling coffee and sweets. I suspect that's the limit of the services on offer. Not a problem for us, but this place is not for you if you want more than just a bed.

Last day of our trip They served us a stinky bad boiled egg! Disgusted as I was I approached the man at the reception who speaks English along with the egg to proof my case but instead of an apology he started yelling at me that it wasn’t his responsibility and stood up like he was going to start a fight with me and called me not polite cause i interrupted his job and got the egg there!!! My four year old daughter who was a witness since the reception and the breakfast area share the sane space got scared for my safety and started saying she wants to return home. If you want your holidays ruined stay there. The smell of the egg was almost as awful as the smell of their rooms since the pipes smell shit so intensively you can’t stay in the room too long and all rooms are extremely noisy since basically this is a sports centre filled with adults and children with some rooms. Due to the location we had chosen to ignore the bad reviews but that was a big mistake. Additionally they charged us 5 euro per day for keeping 1 bag for us although we were visiting an island and returning to their premises.

The Hotel has a great pool for exercise and classes. The gym is not your normal hotel gym it's a real gym. The rooms are ok need an update and our room was very noisy. But you are right in the heart of Napoli
