Work stay for one night. Comfortable and good food at the pub

We stayed at Sessile Oak by Marston's Inns and really appreciated its convenient location — close to shopping malls, a beach, and with easy access to nearby destinations. The property offered a peaceful setting, perfect for a relaxing break. On arrival, there was a bit of a queue, but the staff handled it professionally and were genuinely pleasant throughout our stay. Plenty of parking and good security, including gated access with a magnetic reader system, added to the sense of comfort. Overall, a practical and well-managed place for travellers looking for peace, convenience, and a touch of security.

We didn’t stay. The rooms were dirty.

Terrible stay but not because of the hotel staff. Stayed in the Family room 204 directly opposite the fire door. Didnt get much sleep as about 40 or 50 times throughout the night the fire door and other room doors slammed shut which woke us up. The vibrations of the slamming door can be felt through the room.

As with previous stays, clean comfy room, quiet easy access to many shops etc

Clean and comfortable. Limited reception availability. TV wasn't functioning. Pub breakfast wasn't great.

Women was fantastic. Carvery was fantastic but chips were cold with the second meal we had.

Nice room with aircon. Shame it was 2 single beds together.

Good place to stay. Clean room, I stayed with family 2 nights, staffs are very helpfull.

Ideal place to use as a base for house hunting. The staff are always friendly and pleasant. Our second stay and will use again if needed.

Comfortable bed but has to be the cheapest toilet paper ever. Public toilets better

Quiz night on a Tuesday which made a usually routine trip a bit more fun

Good value

Room was ready, clean and tidy. The staff including housekeeping very friendly. Bed was comfortable and is away from road so is nice and quiet.

Great location and friendly staff. I was disappointed with the push to order on line for a discount. As an International traveller I could NOT complete the order form due to the ‘verification code’ going back to my home country :(. Thus I was penalized from getting the discount. Not so traveller friendly!
