They just might have a forever customer in me. You really can’t beat a hotel that includes a ferry stop right outside, taking you directly into Midtown NYC—it made getting around so easy.
While our view was of a construction site, the room itself more than made up for it. We had a separate bedroom from the living area, two TVs, and a surprisingly spacious bathroom that my wife appreciated. The curtains weren’t blackout, which concerned us at first, but the pull-down shades did a decent job keeping the light out.
If you're looking for a hotel with some actual square footage for your NYC stay, this is a great option. Parking is $22 a day with in-and-out privileges, though you'll be charged each time you exit.
All in all, compared to the other options we considered, this property was easily the best choice for me and my lady.
