The atmosphere is calm, close to everywhere, often good

Quite good for a business trip. The location is very suitable for the Gatot Subroto area business area.

No wifi and no digital TV channels, only analog TV, very poor facilities.

There was only one staff member at check-in and check-out. The AC was very hot in the room, and the bathroom was dirty.

The Wi-Fi didn't work. I borrowed access that lasted until the morning. On the second day, there was no Wi-Fi at all. The water in the bathroom was brown. The staff made no effort to help me carry my luggage or even open the door. There was no hotel restaurant.

Staff were extremely helpful but the facilities are below the minimum standards as expected from a 4 star hotel in the main city centre.

My first impression was of an old hotel with minimal renovations, but it's trying to survive. Details of my experience: - Parking for cars with hoods and tailgates is also Rp 5,000. - Check-in and check-out are fast. - Only 2 of the 4 elevators are functional. - Spacious room with a great view. - Old-fashioned thermostat. - Room temperature doesn't allow for cooler temperatures. - Only a few TV channels can be watched. - Hairdryer available and functional. - Water heater available and functional. - Bathtub available and functional. - Only one outlet in the room near the desk. - Nice swimming pool. - Old-fashioned gym equipment. - Terrible shower room. - Easy access to Sudirman Street. - Close to cinema, HokBen, and Starbucks. - Very good breakfast.

The lighting in the room is not bright enough, it feels scary to be alone in the room, the bathroom bathtub is broken, the carpet on the floor in the room smells a bit, it would be better to replace it with granite flooring

Comfortable, not noisy, and HokBen purchases are available, so you can have a relaxing coffee.

There's no tolerance at check-out and they'll charge you, whereas at other hotels, the check-out time is a maximum of one hour late. The service here used to be excellent, but now it's a bit disappointing, so I won't be returning to Kartika Chandra unless the management is revamped and improves. 🙏🏻

The second time I stayed, perhaps because there were only a few guests, the breakfast that was originally a buffet became an in-room breakfast. It was strange. In the bathroom of room 361, the normal water in the sink didn't work, and the water reservoir in the flush was leaking.

The hotel's concept prioritizes guest comfort. However, due to its long history, some may find it outdated. Overall, however, the hotel is comfortable, close to the city center, and offers plenty of activities nearby.

A classic hotel that is still comfortable, with decent facilities, good food, maybe the lights need to be brightened up again
