I've been a regular staycation at the Oval Hotel. The friendliness of the front desk staff and the convenient access to the hotel were not matched by the cleanliness of the rooms. The area under the bed looked like it had never been cleaned.

The staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay. There are three points that should be addressed immediately to make this hotel more attractive to others: 1. The elevator could use some improvements, as the elevator sensor malfunctioned on several occasions. The doors suddenly closed when we were trying to exit the elevator. 2. The bathroom lighting is dim and doesn't reach the shower area. Perhaps a second light could be added to the shower area. 3. The bathroom exhaust doesn't work or there isn't one available. Overall, this is still one of the closest hotels to KBS, with affordable prices and breakfast. Thanks.
