Be PREPARED TO PAY $100 per night security deposit. I loved, loved, loved this property! It was amazing! The location has so much around it to do, dining options and it’s super safe! The hotel pool is located on the 8th floor where the Bridges restaurant is and it was so nice. While swimming you get to take in breath taking views of the area. I just hated the $100 per night security deposit. It was not disclosed on the Expedia website or hotel website. When you budget one thing and you are surprised with a fee it really ruins your vacation. Mind you the fee will be refunded because it’s for accidentals so as long as you’re not tearing anything up or charging things to your room you’re fine but the charge has to hit your account and go pending and the funds are not available for use. This really bummed me out. I would book here again because it was so nice but the websites should be more detailed about security deposits, accidentals etc.

Stay away from this place health and safety case, health department will be notified especially when a little kid is involved and has hurt himself. I will send a complaint to the Department of Health regarding this case. I also will be posting every picture I have that will support my reviews and my desire to protect other families from this horrible place

This hotel was incredible! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the luxurious vibe—everything felt so fancy and well-appointed. The food? Absolutely amazing, with so many delicious options. But what really stood out was the staff—everyone was so warm and welcoming, making the stay even more special. And the pool… *wow*! Hands down one of the best I’ve experienced—perfect for relaxing under the Florida sun. I’ll 100% be recommending this place to friends and will definitely book here again on my next trip. A total gem!

Why not just give the customers a discount on the rates instead of making them eat at the hotel’s restaurant? $28/ day and the tickets for beverages during happy hour. I bet you this, if they didn’t do this nobody would eat at the restaurant. The entire hotel is understaffed and probably mismanaged. There’s no valet, even the entrance fountains aren’t functional anymore. I don’t think I will be going back there. I had to clear out dining plates from a table in order to sit down with my family to eat breakfast. No towels at the pool also. Talk about the lines to get an omelet cooked to order for breakfast. I think there’s great potential in this hotel but it needs better management. Or leave it as is and lower the rates, since the building is very nice and clean. Good luck

Nice property in a central location to be Downtown and also get to Longboat or Siesta easily. Self parking was definitely a plus for plans that require flexibility. Free breakfast was an added benefit. The hotel gets a lot of traffic but staff is constantly working to clean. The pool looks great in photos but is small, gets crowded and is shaded most of the day.
