Genuinely, one of the worst “resorts” I’ve ever been to; if you can even call it that. More like an overpriced hotel that claims to be 21+, but kept seeing children in the lobby in god damn baby bouncers (on July 4th). For anyone that is childfree and wants a child free hotel experience, this is NOT it. Nothing about this place has resort-like features whatsoever. The staff walk on top of you and don’t say excuse me or anything. Ignored almost everytime by the staff except for the only nice lady the works at the bar by the pool. Genuinely, never been treated so bad and so baffled by any place ever. Unsure if it’s because of a “f them gringos” attitude or what. I wanted a relaxing romantic vaca with my husband, but we just felt so mistreated and felt like we wasted all money by being here, then to add the letting of children into the hotel was upsetting. Don’t waste your money. Bite the bullet & just go for a fancier place that actually has a spa, good staff & a decent bite to eat.

Pros The rooms were clean. Central location Walking distance to most places No kids. Cons On the first day, the key lock became detached. They sent a handyman to repair and he tried his best. I went to the front desk to ask if they could give us a new room and the girl was a bit rude and said “no” unless it is beyond repair. The guy could not fix it so they ended up moving our room. We later found out that the door was recently broken by a couple that got into a fight. That same night, a fight broke out in the next room over. They yelled, cursed and threw things from 4am - 7am. When we arrived on Saturday, the pool was crowded and it was not a nice crowd. By Tuesday, this was no longer an issue. The pool was quite and clean. I assume this is an issue on weekends. Although the pool overlooks the ocean, you cannot swim here. It is rocky and dangerous. There is a sign warning you not to enter. Again, the crowd that stayed here was a young party crowd over the weekend. You could not enjoy a cup of coffee outside because of the smell of weed. The staff is a hit or miss. Some were nice and helpful and others looked like they did not want to be there. Staff are all very young and they behave that way, even in front of guests. At one point, staff were bad-mouthing customers without realizing we spoke spanish. I did get a text from the manager asking how things were going. When I stated I had a few bumps, he gave me a $75 credit. I don’t think I would stay here again.

Beautiful room and view and amazing restaurant and pool

At night very noisy and rowdy in the hallways and no security to control. Also people go in and out, and they don’t check to ensure they are hotel guests. Housekeeping is poor and no beach.

The property was nice but not the cleanest. Plus there were issues with the Wi-Fi and the power went out several times. Great location but not worth the price tag. Food is mediocre and the elevators need some work.

The hotel overall is pretty decent. The room and cleanliness was pretty cool. Other than it wasn’t a great experience. Staff was barely helpful so I had figure out things myself. Drinks and food is very pricey. When you do order food just know there no seasoning at all. Taste like paper. Overall the location is cool but that’s pretty much it.

Very personable, friendly, accommodating staff. Clean property and clear communication on events/issues/etc. A little disappointed the beach area adjacent to hotel is not swimmer friendly but they are places you can enjoy the beach nearby.
