We booked Sorgo Palace very last minute (literally 30 minutes before we arrived!) due to a very unfortunate issue with a booking we had in nearby Neum, Bosnia and Herzegovina. I can't say enough about how welcoming our hosts were. The room was immaculate and nicely appointed. It was a very quiet and comfortable sleep with a wonderful homemade breakfast served on the patio. We had spent the afternoon in Ston and had we known how wonderful this little town was, we would have booked the Sorgo Palace months ago when we planned our Croatia trip. We highly recommend staying at Sorgo Palace as well as adding Ston to your list of places to visit.

Friendly staff/owners comfortable quarters clean center of town only downside is the stairs. But hey, the buildings 500 years old guess that’s to be expected.

Parking was supposed to be free. Owner said our car was registered to park anywhere in the city. We had a a parking ticket on our windshield in the morning! I sent an email immediately and never got a response.

We were passing through Stone and decided to stay the night and booked the room right then. Our host Antonio was so friendly and helpful. The room was absolutely spotless, comfortable, and overall very nice. We then had breakfast in the morning provided byAntonio and it was also wonderful. I would highly recommend this location.

The Sorgo Palace is just inside the old town, you just have to park across the road and you will see the sign for Sorgo Restaurant. There restaurant is for sure the best in Ston and they have rooms in two of the historic buildings with the restaurant in between. There are stairs but the staff (who are all family) are eager to help out. Breakfast is included in their restaurant and was made to order omelettes, fruit, meat and cheese and lovely bread. We loved our 2 day stay there, the room was so well done, we switched rooms to stay 2 nights in the same room so the a/c hadn't been turned on prior to our stay so it took awhile to cool down but it was super hot that day and we had the top floor. Ston is a great place if you love small, quaint places with lots of charm and friendly people. I would stay at Sorgo Palace again, the family is amazing and is there to make sure you have a wonderful stay!

Our stay at the Sorgo Palace was excellent. You do need to estimate your arrival time, as there is no front desk, just rooms above a restaurant, but if you do this, someone is there to let you in with a very friendly and helpful smile. The room we had was bright and clean and the beds were some of the most comfortable of our travels. The bathroom had a good shower, including shampoos and there was also a little fridge and great air conditioner in there. Full breakfast was included at the restaurant below the rooms. The hotel is located right inside the town, which doesn’t allow cars, so you park in the public lot across the street, take a photo of your license, and the proprietor takes care of it. It was a great place to stay and we would highly recommend it.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was very good value and included breakfast. The only down side would be that there is no lift so not suitable if you can’t climb stair.

Clean and New but situated above a family restaurant and can be noisy in the night . Ensure you have strong proof of evidence with Local contact number to call for verification to refute claims of NON Payment ( owner used rejected credit card payment as a reason which he could not give any evidence). Fortunately, I managed to call to a local agent and they talked in their local language. Mali stone has better choice of restaurants for dining .

Well renovated rooms in an old town, bathroom was clean with a good shower. Our room was a good mix of stone walls and modern facilities. The staff were friendly and accommodating, they allowed us to keep the parking until we had finished exploring the town and old walls after check out. The parking is in the main car park as the town is a pedestrian zone. I would advise contacting guests regarding the parking as it caused us some confusion on arrival, other than that the parking was fairly close so was not a problem. The food in the restaurant was very good, though careful when selecting fish as some of it is pricey but very nice. The breakfast was made to order which was nice. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

Ston is about 4 square blocks, no cars allowed. There’s lots of parking and the Hotel gives you a free parking pass to put in your car. We parked in the big Pay lot and the pass works there as well. We arrived early and no problem, we were shown up to the blue room. It was exactly as it looked online, and quite comfortable. We ate a Golden Platter of mussels, clams and shrimp at the hotel restaurant for lunch that was huge and very good. I’m glad we stayed in Ston. It was a unique experience to be in such a small place. All the staff were extremely friendly. There are lots of restaurants to choose from. Because we’d had such a huge lunch we ended back at the hotel again for dinner just for a salad and basket of bread. Breakfast was included. My husband had a nice omelette and I had a cold plate. More than enough food!

This was amazing hotel/apartment unit. It comprises of spacious room with brand new furniture and excellent design. Attached to the room is large bathroom with all new features such as shower, toilet and sink and as well all needed toiletries provided and thick clean towels as many as you need. Accommodation unit is inside old stone builded house which is run by family members as a restaurant with tradition and newly set up rooms for holiday. It is all situated in the old core of Ston City, but on the other hand literally stone away from the sea shore. Breakfast is offered in the Restaurant just downstairs from your room. Accommodation is convenient as well if you are visiting Mali Ston as it was my purpose of trip on this occasion to attend Mali Ston Oyster festival. Staff of the Restaurant and Accommodation are very dedicated to every single guest and customer even in the case they are very busy as it was on Saturday on my arrival. They will offer you a free parking just 50 m away from the House.

Rooms were nice looking. It looked like they had been recently updated. Breakfast was not good. I booked a 2 bedroom suite (which was quite small) but he tried to put me into a 1 bedroom. I'm not sure if he was being dishonest or not paying attention. Bathroom had a bad smell.
