Had a lovely welcome from Jo who was very knowledgable on area and Alton Towers theme park which was our reason for staying. Alton Towers was a short easy drive around 10 minutes. Rooms had everything you needed very clean and to top your stay, a freshly cooked good quality breakfast. Hope to come again next year. Stella from kent.

Wonderful small B&B with friendly hosts. Interesting building and village. Lovely walks from the door. Convenient for Alton Towers (via some small roads). No dinner served but food available within a short drive or delivery from nearby takeaways (information available from hosts or website). Small car park within grounds and nearby parking for larger vehicles. Highly recommended. Room scrupulously clean with daily housekeeping.

Jo was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond every step of the way. Before arrival over the phone, she offered a later check in than normal due to my long travel time (approx 4.5hrs) and gave me great information about Alton Towers before arrival. On arrival we were greeted with a birthday card for my daughter who was turning 10 during our stay, which was only mentioned breifly during a phone call before travelling there. Jo also helped me sneak around with my daughter's presents and kindly put them on display in the dining room ready for my daughter to walk in to in the morning. The room was impeccably clean, warm and cosy. The shower was great. Towels were soft. Breakfast was absolutely amazing with the most perfect poached eggs I've ever eaten! (Thank you Steve!) And Jo's homemade jams were fantastic! She even gave us some homegrown apples to take home with us. The area itself was stunning too. Plus lots of places to eat and drink near by.

Short weekend stay to go to Alton Towers. Guest house is very cosy and rooms are very pretty and comfortable. Breakfast really good and so was the host. Recommend every day of the week.

Unique quiet property with access to loads of walking routes and nice pubs/restaurants The staff are amazing, breakfast fantastic and couldn't recommend more. We will be back.

Great location yet quietly tucked away from it all to make the stay peaceful before all the entertainment around the area.

On first arrival the place we met Jo and she was very welcoming and lovely and the room was very clean! We stayed here for 4 days as we was visiting Alton towers resort and Jo knew a lot of information about the place what’s was helpful! The breakfast was lovely aswell I would really recommend the place too others! Thank you so much Jo

We stayed here two nights for our visit to Alton Towers and it was the perfect location. The hosts Jo and Steve provided excellent service; their restaurant recommendations were brilliant and their breakfast was delicious. The room was clean and very comfortable and we would highly recommend.

What a lovely find. We would not hesitate in staying here again. Everything we needed was provided and it was lovely to wake up and be able to have a cooked breakfast. Alton Towers was 2 miles away - a 10 minute drive - and it was the perfect location at the end of a busy day. I would not hesitate in recommending the Beehive to others.

Peaceful location. From the moment we arrived the hostess, Jo, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The room was clean with good facilities and refreshments. The property is conveniently located for visiting Alton Towers (less than a 10min drive). Would strongly recommend a stay at The Beehive Guest House if visiting the area.

Absolutely recommend! Stayed for a weekend while visiting Alton towers. Jo was so welcoming and made us feel right at home! Our room was perfect and so clean! And the breakfast was amazing!

Lovely B&B, well located for Alton towers. Hosts are brilliant, and accomodating for dietary requirements (our group had 2 vegans and 1 gluten free)

We had such a lovely stay at the Beehive guest house. Jo is a lovely lady who looked after us so well and catered for our differing dietary requirements. She’s super knowledgeable about Alton Towers (which was the reason for our visit) and it was interesting to hear all about the rides history. We stayed in the kingsize room and it was perfect - clean, comfortable and homely. We’ll definitely be back!

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay here. Jo is so friendly and knowledgable about the area. Our room was pristine and the bed was very comfortable. Brilliant shower. Breakfast was 10/10!

Lovely B&B. Clean, modern, comfortable and only a few minutes drive from Alton towers. Host Jo was lovely, chatty and knowledgeable of the area. I happened to mention that I had forgotten my phone charger and Jo kindly found a spare I could borrow. Great service! Breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from. I would definately recommend staying here!
