The staff are amazing - right from the start when we drove up - James greeted us and wanted to help. The staff at the front desk are also very friendly - as well as the cleaning staff. Always smiling and wishing you a good day - I have never seen anything like this. The room was clean with good coffee and tea options. I would highly recommend this property. I would only ask for toilet paper that is 2 or 3 ply - I know that sounds trivial to mention, but that was the only thing that didn't fit the quality of the hotel.

A bit over designed, but nonetheless comfortable room. There were a few problems (e.g., getting strong shower pressure on the 12th floor; ours cut out at times), which we reported to the desk. The restaurant has a limited menu, but with a regional theme, and everything is well prepared. Close to Parliament Hill and many good restaurants. Pleasant, helpful staff.

Parking was an issue checking in we parked for the night at a public parking and the next morning was changed $34.

Front desk staff as well as the restaurant were top notch! We had a great stay for my wife’s 55th birthday.

The only down fall with my stay, was the EV charging stations were not working. Valet had to bring my car to Rideau Centre to charge it and I was doubled billed (hotel fee Tesla). To compensate for the extra charges, I was offered a complimentary breakfast at the hotel. Breakfast was very good.

Le Germain Ottawa is one of our preferred places to stay when we visit Ottawa. The hotel is a very well maintained boutique hotel with excellent customer service. The staff pride themselves on attention to detail. The rooms are always spotlessly clean. The nespresso coffee machine in the room is lovely for morning coffee. The hotel is well located steps away from dining in Byward market and shopping at the Rideau centre. Unfortunately, however the downtown area around the hotel and Byward market has been badly affected by the drug and homelessness crisis that is affecting many of our cities. While we have never had any bad experiences we do make sure to be aware of our surroundings especially at night. Despite this, I would not hesitate to book this hotel as our experience has always been top notch.

Great hotel

The staff is truly fantastic. The food at Norca was exquisite. The bathroom needed a makeover.

We stayed on the top floor in a corner suite, which was very well equipped with excellent views and a very cool vibe. Staff were very friendly. The fitness room was well equipped as well. Would stay here again without reservation.

Excellent stay, very comfortable and clean room, the staff is super friendly, had the breakfast at the restaurant, top notch.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Le Germain Hotel for a late Valentine and Birthday stay and the Le Germain is hands down the best hotel in Ottawa! Everything to the staff to the room and over all experience was amazing. This hotel is a 10/10 and would recommend to everyone needing a hotel in Ottawa.
