Stayed for two nights in a superior twin room. The front desk was friendly and close to Gubeng Lama Station, just a short walk away. There was train noise entertainment, and the building was old but comfortable enough. The downsides were the squeaky cupboard doors and limited breakfast options. Overall, it was still a pleasant stay.

The location was great, but the room facilities were old, the sheets looked a bit dirty, the lighting was dim, the kettle was very old, there was no hairdryer, and the sink leaked. My room was on the 7th floor, and it was extremely noisy, with constant car noise! On the third day, the housekeeping staff even took away my laundry soap and conditioner.

An old hotel in Surabaya, with clean rooms, cool air conditioning, a peaceful atmosphere, a clean bathroom, and hot water. Centrally located, easy to get around. There's a food stall near the hotel, including the Sederhana restaurant in Gubeng Pojok, which is cheap and delicious.

This is my second time staying at the Sahid Hotel. It's a legendary, fun hotel. It feels like being a rich person in the 90s. The rooms are clean and smell good. The bedding is always in good condition. The pillows, blankets, and sheets smell great. Overall, it's a pleasant stay, despite the horror stories.

The hotel was quite comfortable, easily accessible, centrally located, and the rooms were spacious and fairly clean. The service was friendly, though the receptionist was a bit rude. The bathroom was spacious, though there was no soap provided, and the sink was clogged, but otherwise satisfactory.
