Good value for one night. Staff all well mannered and helpful

Dirty room, dusty, not cleaned, toilet dirty, shower grout dirty, dead flies, ripped curtain. Had full refund. Only beds and towells changed, room had not been cleaned in weeks. Unacceptable. Stuffing pouring out of chairs in communal areas. Shabby hotel. Do not stay.

Lovely value for money hotel. Room was good size although would benefit from a see on clean. Friendly helpful staff and edible food options. Altogether pleasant stay, would happily return.

Really good

Staff were friendly and helpful, common areas were clean and tidy, service was good, but the room floor was dirty, as were the bedside cabinets and the bathroom floor. There was what looked like mold on the bathroom wall and drip marks on both the bedroom wall near the bathroom and the bathroom wall itself. The paintwork in the bathroom and the doors needs updating as it's chipped and dirty.

Have stayed at this hotel before, and it’s one of my go to in the area. Good location, nice rooms makes it my first choice

The location is fantastic. The property is lovely. I would recommend not eating at the hotel, there are better options within walking distance.

A comfortable, pleasant stay. Enjoyed a chat with the manager. Room was small but had everything I needed. A pleasant stay.

Great little town the pub is situated at the top end has easy parking. The rooms are just big enough and the bathroom is small but modern. There is no lift and stairs to the first floor were quite steep. Breakfast was good.

Nice quiet pub with rooms. Staff were great. Breakfast was too late for business traveller.

As the organiser of a 6 room booking no one in the group had any complaints at all. The staff were incredibly attentive and happy to help, the rooms were clean and comfortable and breakfast was exactly as expected. Considering we were there way out of their main season and the roof had sustained some damage from a recent storm, we were very impressed.

We stayed in room 3 Room wasnt as clean as I wanted as we found used tissues in the top drawer when looking for a hair dryer which the room didnt have so I had to ask at the bar for one.. and when my daughter went to use the toilteries they were empty. Other than that and maybe a little uldating of the decor it was a nice stay and we would return..

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The only downside was the room floor could have had a more thorough clean.

The hotel is in need of refurbishment for the bedrooms. Stair carpet etc is wearing thin and the bedroom furniture is looking tired

Booked lastminute, warm, welcoming. Host was very knowledgeable on place to visit. Food was very good, some thing for everyone. Great little stop over.
