The booking system was awesome, and I stated for a late check-in at 4.30pm with all the confirmation done, but I reached at 4.45pm as I ended work later than expected. As I reached the hotel to check in, saw the lobby was awesomely beautiful, so I filled in the form and done all, but suddenly I was told that my room of large bed was not ready as there was a guest just checked out? And that was already almost 5pm! Counter stuff told me to either wait for about 15 to 20mins or she will give a room with 2 singlebed and combine together. Of course I rejected cause I paid for a large bed, also I had experienced backache when 2singlebeds combine. So we waited about 20mins or so we came back but we were made to wait another 10mins coming to more 30mins. When we asked when will be ready, staff said ouh the housekeeper just started to clean the room. We still stayed calm although in our hearts says"ouh ny goodness!"5mins later, feeling pissed off, my spouse approached another last time, again she said to wait. I raised my voice aloud and said how long more lah!"Then she said OK its ready. Its my 1st time encountered this cock up. Venue Hotel also needs to be very prompt and systematic in handling booking of rooms. If there was no availability of room with large bed, then should just state at the point of my booking. Not make guests wait so long, some more we were so shagged from work and we need to change and rest well. Imagine if I reached there on time at 4.30pm, it means I had to wait 45mins right? The room was rather small and room settings still need to be improved. Classic by Venue is so so much better.
