No check in staff. So make sure you have email availability on arrival. Room was compact. But had a balcony's with 2 chairs. Adequate bathroom. Hotel was clean and tidy. Is on a steep hill. So definately no good for lesser abled people. Good value for money. Good location.

Location of the accomodation was good, near to metro and train station and food choices. Room was adequate with sink, kettle etc. Check in was simple, using numeric code, and there was no reception counter. However the check in timing was very strict at 4pm. In addition, there was not enough lockers to be used in the event you need to use one to temporarily store your luggages.

Absolutely terrible stay! This property is all virtual and which caused for lack of communication. Not helpful and would not assist us in any issues that arose. Took three days to hear back once we checked out. Our power went out in our room and we had no electricity, lights, and AC. They could not offer us another room but then at 11pm at night offered to move us hotels even though we contacted them in the morning and were checking out at 7am the next morning. Our shower head was broken and shower pressure was super poor! Then the drains weren’t working causing floods. Once I got ahold of them today they stated that we did not reach out, however Expedia reached out on our behalf several times and they denied refunds.

The location was great. It had the smallest lift I have ever seen, but I was glad to have it. I appreciated the fridge. The room was small, but fine. They didn’t clean it the first day and checking in was a bit unsettling with no person there to assist. I didn’t understand that everything was done on line. The price was good.

Very close to Ribeira district. Check in online which was easy. Cleaning staff on site helpful on arrival. Place to store luggage until room was ready. Quiet side street. Very clean.

Checking in was a nightmare. There is no front desk person and we arrived early. The phone number didn’t work, all messages we sent had an AI response telling us incessantly to check in online (which we did days before arrival). We finally received a text with our room info but the codes did not work for 3 more hours. When we got to our room, it was under construction and there was no wifi code. So we had to go back and message them again and were told “they already sent it to us” but they did not. Argh.

The location is great but the communication is poor. We never received lock code to get in. I had to call their customer service and then they informed it’s because we booked from Expedia that’s why we didn’t receive an email. But this should not be on the guest, its owners responsibility. Secondly, there is no front desk. They give you WhatsApp number to contact for help. We reached out to them but never got any response ever. The rooms are tiny, the closet was broken so we couldn’t use it. The bathroom was small and in poor condition. The place is inexpensive so you get what you pay. I won’t book it again though.

The biggest plus of staying here is the location! It's greatly places between all the things you want to see in Porto! The room itself was clean and quite small though but understanding it's in the city center. There was an issue with the electricity tripping a few times a days but luckily I got instructions on how to fix it so that was helpful. I felt safe staying here as a solo traveller.

The area outside the building didn't have a good appeal, but once inside the hotel, it was surprisingly nice. I like having the elevator and the cleanliness of the room. The only draw back was the small bathroom.

Let’s start with the positives the kitchenette was a big plus when you're tired of eating out. It was stocked with all the dishes, including a small pack of olive oil and salt, which was thoughtful. We also loved the separate dining area with two chairs. When booking a room, we usually look for three things: a comfortable bed, a clean, modern bathroom, and a good location. The bathroom was great, and the location was good too, but be warned, it's on a super steep hill. Even with just two carry ons, walking up from the subway was rough. The bed was much smaller than a standard queen, and the room had enough space for a king, we barely slept as we weren’t able to move! The biggest issue though? No staff. Not one person. This isn’t made clear when booking, likely on purpose. As tourists without local data, we had to turn on roaming (costing $30) just to get the entry code. There was no Wi-Fi info in the email or room. There’s a useless WhatsApp number posted, but no one responds. We got two very thin pillows, and with no staff, we had to use our clothes for extra support. We even saw other confused guests stuck outside, unable to access help due to no internet. We let them in so they could figure things out. Overall, I won’t stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it. I prefer places with 24/7 staff you can rely on

The elevator does not work. I had to walk three flights of stars with luggage. I am 74 years old and it was very difficult!!! The steps are very steep and dangerous. This is the second time I stayed here and the elevator did not work the first time either. The room was good. But I will not stay again.

I literally wanted to stay in this place, I accidentally booked the wrong date and the owner refused to help me changed it, they told me to contact expedia because it wasn't their problem, expedia told me that the owner refused to help ultimately I ended up paying for a room that I didn't even use. Great location near the main shopping area. If coming from Campahna station, take the bus and not the train to Sao Bento. There are steep stairs. Great set up for the services apartments

This property was in a great location and the room was big! Plenty of room to relax at the end of the day. I think, however, the hotel needs to better describe what fully automated means. I had no idea there wouldn’t be a person on staff. I wasn’t able to check in from the first e-mail that was sent because there were accidentally 2 people in the booking but I was traveling alone. I responded immediately to hotel and they told me they would change the booking. They did not do that in advance so when I arrived at the hotel in the pouring rain I couldn’t get in. That was frustrating. They did respond to phone call and I was able to check in. Once again I was confused because they use the word “pass” for room. I have traveled extensively and never heard that term either. After the initial confusion everything was great. I am an older person so not as tech savvy and I think word choice in hotel description could be improved for old people like me.
