⭐☆☆☆☆ Very Disappointing Stay at The Ritz-Carlton Aruba
My husband and I stayed here for a week and were really disappointed, especially for a Ritz-Carlton property. We booked through Expedia with our Amex Platinum Card, expecting breakfast to be included—it wasn’t, and no one offered a clear reason why.
We were also charged unexplained extra fees, and to make matters worse, staff entered our room without permission on multiple occasions—once to bring a baby crib we hadn’t requested, and another time to deliver a fridge while we were on the balcony. This felt like a serious privacy issue.
The food and drinks were extremely overpriced, and overall the experience did not justify the cost. The property is pretty, but we expected much better service, transparency, and respect for guests’ privacy. We would not stay here again.
