It’s and old hotel, needs urgent renovation . My family asked three times for change room. Few of them are in aceptable condition . Phone not working for 3 days . Washroom old , rusty back of the toilet.Restaurant that they share with hotel, terrible menu, food without flavor. Not good stay for us . And the price is not cheap. Not recommended this hotel

The service was absolutely fantastic. The hotel is clean and organized. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I would absolutely recommend it and would return without hesitation.

The Plaza was a very nice and affordable option for our trip to El Salvador. Breakfast buffet was excellent and service within all areas of the hotel was absolutely the best.

I am been staying in this place for the 20 years. I love it.

Locating the hotel was confusing as no where on the reservation nor check in instructions was it mentioned that the "Plaza Hotel" is a tower within the Hilton Hotel. We circled the Hilton hotel about 3 times before going inside to ask for help/directions on how to find the Plaza Hotel. It wasn't until then that we were told the tower was inside the Hilton's property and the Hilton check in desk was used for both hotels. The room itself was not giving Hilton however. Carpets were stained and had iron burns on it. Bathrooms needed work. Bathtub was dirty and stained and toilet was a public restroom toilet. I had never seen that in my life at any hotel. AC in the living room wasn't working either. Bed mattress and couches were stained. These rooms needed a lot of work. We were told the whole tower had just started on renovations so here's hoping all these details don't get overlooked. The hospitality and customer service from their check in clerks and bell boys was impeccable. Some of the nicest people I've ever met.

Nice that it shares the same Hilton property

Most important thing to note is that this property is attached to the Hilton meaning you park at Hilton, use all its amenities, restaurants, pool, lobby, etc. that was a nice aspect. The money you save by staying here is worth the minor inconveniences that come with the room - the bathroom being tiny, the shower curtain being too short and water spills everywhere, a bit of a musk smell in the room, overall there was no mold or anything dire in our specific room. AC worked great to the point that the room was even too cold, and all the staff was very courteous and super nice. I felt safe there for sure. If I’m ever back in San Salvador I’d stay here again!

Great place to stay. Very modern and active. Close to many restaurants and places to shop. Staff is Amazing. Was able to check in early.
