Beautiful hotel. Clean rooms, nice pools. Staff were incredible! So friendly and accommodating. Had one small problem with AC not working in our room but they immediately addressed it, helped us move to a better room and gave us ‘preferred’ status to enjoy more perks. Would def stay there again and recommend.

The resort was clean but all restaurants close to early and hard to find decent food after 10p. The bartender Mama at St James was amazing

We did not have a great experience at this property. Two of our friends had no working air conditioning even after switching rooms. We were told mixed messages about eating at Hibachi and even after being charged for a bottle of wine to get a reservation the restaurant has no record of it. The food was mediocre. The bar tenders were great and the piano bar was a lot of fun.

My stay at Secrets St. James was ok. The food and drinks were good, but the customer service needs improvement. This rating takes into account room wasnt ready on arrival, staff didnt restock room drinks, didnt get my birthday door sash or other items, and some of the staff had bad attitudes.

This resort has everything you need & want on vacay... you don't have to leave the property. I shopped at all of the on-site boutiques & bought souvenirs & knickknacks. I literally ate & drank all day long... between room sevice, all of the beautiful restaurants, grills, jerk chicken cart & bars. This was my 1st time staying a Secrets resort, but it definitely won't be my last. Thanks to all of the hard-working staff at Secrets!!!

What you see what you get overall the stay was wonderful the workers was awesome respectful caring & loving. Room service was a plus. View was great!

Hotel is very good , beach position is famtatsic. Beach os narrow but sea is fabulous and sand is nice. Food is very average and drinks are decent but not top level. The hotel is older but still its nice. Cleaners are very nice and good. We will go back at some point. Beds are comfortable.

This is my honest reveiw. Property needs some updating. They were doing some upkeep on the outside that was much needed. I spent the extra money for preferred but I could of kept my money. Everyone has access to every part of secrets even though they claim an area is for preferred guest. Also the preferred side is quiet and boring. As a preferred guest they give u coupons but there really not good for anything that u will use thats worth the stress to use.to get a buzz u need 10 drinks. Food is absolutely horrible. I will say breakfast at the buffet is what i survived off of. The restaurants food are all meh! For the price this experience wasnt worth the cost. I BELEIVE they survive and get business off their name. Well the secret is out this place is no longer 5 stars (ive been here about 6 years ago) but most of the staff we're kind i tipped well even though i did not enjoy my experience. I wish we were allowed to stay in the pool later but basically once the sun goes down thats it . The entertainment they have needs work and alot of it. They receive alot of money but give such a crappy show. The karokee was fun though.. For the most part all of the activities/ entertainment seems unorganized and rushed. I know this place has potential i seen reviews from other ppl before i booked and ignored those reviews because i know people exaggerate and I was here once before and had a more positive experience. But the people were correct its not worth the money. I love jamiaca stil

Lovely team members and great rooms. Restaurants and bars were just ok.

The most staff were very helpful and nice. Variety of food options and drinks. Generally great overall. I would easily choose Secrets St James again.

Hopeton was his name and he was absolutely amazing his hospitality was warming. I definitely will be going back to visit.

Property was overall nice - but kind of just stuck at the property. No real water activities to do unless leave resort. Bartenders and servers are slow - rest of staff good. Food options during the day are limited

It was okay! We came from Sandals & it was a night/day difference. The room was dirty- floor etc. navigating the property wasn’t that great either, staff was somewhat helpful. We only stayed one night so maybe that would have gotten better. our friend also fell and the charged $65 for a bandaid??

The service was great.

The atmosphere at the resort was amazing, the water clear and easily accessible, personnel were all friendly and helpful when needed. We were disappointed in the taste in foods containing beef products, perhaps because the seasoning was “down home”, but still ,lacking in flavor. The Italian dishes were excellent! We daily enjoyed the buffet breakfast, and most often had lunch there as well. Excellent variety. The excursions were a bit disappointing, but we only did zip, raft, Falls, snorkeling adventure.

The service was great. Everyone was very attentive. I had a great time.

Our room was beautiful, and the staff was amazing! They were friendly, welcoming and accommodating! The hotel was under some construction during our stay, so we are looking forward to visiting again to see the completed work.

The hotel was just ok. I did not like the pool view room. It was not the same as i saw online. The buffet was just average and communication is very poor. We were not even told for other places for food and ammenities
