Clean, very helpfull and frendly staff. Good food. Preperations for tropical cyclone Belal was handeled well,and staff still kept guests as comfortable and safe as possible.

We arrived in the evening and were greeted by the reception staff who were exceptionally polite and helpful. However on arriving at the room we found it very dated. The door was difficult to open and covered in ants. There was a gap underneath the door which was covered one side by a door brush, whilst the side facing us was exposed. This became quite a problem as it meant that insects could get in and in our case we were met with a rather large cockroach. The room had aircon which was a plus and was quite spacious, however the lighting was very dim and made it quite dark across the room. When attempting to open the balcony door, the handle was broken meaning that we couldn't open the door or windows. This was an issue as we booked a sea view room, but found it hard to get out an actually see it. The bathroom is stuck in time. The toilet is placed in a very awkward position. At dinner we had a very cold reception from the staff who were more concerned with us signing drink orders than attending to us. Moreover there was flies everywhere and dinnerware had food remains. There were multiple incidences of power cuts and no wifi for the rest of the night. We decided to leave and book another hotel due to the lack of cleanliness, unfriendly feel and lack of amenities. On checking out, there was no enquiry as to why or how our stay had been or even provide a partial refund, but simply to pay the drinks tab. I would only recommend this place if you are desperate to stay somewhere.

This was an amazing resort for the price! We are so happy with everything and will definitely be back if we come back to Mauritius. The staff especially were incredibly kind and warm. We had a wonderful time.

Walking distance to Mont Choisy beach Food options were good, staff went beyond to look after my vegetarian dietary requirements. Only negative feedback were the bedrooms, pest control is required, had ants crawling on the table and flies in the bathroom at night.

As I arrived, I was greeted warmly by the kind Jennifer and was offered a welcoming cocktail on arrival. The check-in process was quite fast. Staffs are also very polite. Piano bar music was available during sundowner and sega shows (mauritian traditional danse) were performed during dinner time. Live music was available up to 10 pm and this was really great. For the dinner, it was open buffet, and globally the food was good. Complimentary water was offered at my table. My only regrets is that the room was next to the road and if you are looking for calmness, this is not ideal. Secondly, on both days, I did not have a beach towel, for there was none available, even after checking 3 times. Sadly also, a monetary caution of Rs 300 is required to get the beach towel. Overall, if you are looking for an animated and family context, this is great. If you are looking for a calm retreat, then you might consider alternative options.

Great entertainment and fun stuff to do. That all I ca say , management need to work on rooms

This is very nice resort and the staff in very friendly. Rooms were cleaned every day to a high standard, however the furniture is little old, some parts need improvement (exp. doors). The free wi-fi connection is good only near the reception and the restaurant, but is very poor in the rooms and near the beach. Rooms have satellite TV, but with only 8 channels. We have a room with a beautiful view on the see 😊. Food was interesting with significant touch of spices from far east.

Вот уже 5 раз останавливаюсь в этом отеле.нравиться большой старый парк с пальмами, все номера( даже стандартные) с видом на море, вкусные завтраки и ужины с видом на океан,потрясающие закаты, близость одного из лучших пляжей на острове а также близость до Гранд Бэй! По вечерам есть шоу- программы и конечно же доступная цена!

I looked forward to this stay as the photos were beautiful, only to arrive to a very old hotel, which is maintained to an average standard. The breakfast buffet wasn’t great at all, and the set tables for breakfast needed table clothes. The dinner buffet has a adequate selection and the food were better compared to the breakfast. The customer relation officer Ms Lopez went out of her way and gave us 5 star service. We left with mixed feelings as the service was great and made up where the hotel lacked.

Great location with magnificient sea view and steps away from the beach. Property in need of renovation and refurbishment particularly the restaurant. Furniture us aged and so is the servewares.

A pleasant walk to the beach and gorgeous sunsets from the poolside bar

This is great resort made even better by the fantastic staff. No query was too much effort. Rooms were cleaned every day to a high standard. The resort is on the beach and has beautiful gardens and pool. The beach is not the prettiest but you are a few minutes walk from 2 beautiful beaches. Mont choisy especially is stunning and quieter than trou aux biches. There are kayaks on the resorts beach to use and a range of other activities including a trip on a glass bottomed boat and archery. The kids club also seemed to be busy.

small cosy place in much better and open outlook than Grand Baie, with nice Mont Choisy beach easily accessible. Only downside was poor food quality: the fruit was inferior to that sold on the streets

Hotel was nice, good for family trip. You can relax by the pool, by the palm trees or next to the beach. Rooms were clean with a personal touch . Breakfast and dinner were nice , lunch not really . We had half board but we went for lunch buffet once but there was not much option we did not like it. Nice beach next to the hotel and small restaurants there have nice food. Dodo club for kids have friendly staffs

The hotel is beautifully located with a private beach not far away from the beautiful Trou Aux Biches Beach. Hotel staff wa amazingly friendly. Food was okay. Plenty public transport to Grand Bay, Port Louis by the resort. We enjoyed Indian show on Wednesday. Wifi only by the reception and not in rooms. We would not have asked for a better holiday. I strongly recommend Coral Azur to everyone and will definitely visit again next year.

Staff is very arrogant. Does not have time to talk and explain. Room condition was ok.. but Locker was not working.. and when complained, the reception person came and knocked the locker a few time. As a result the battery fell off. Post fixing the battery, it started working, but after first lock, it would not reopen. Luckily I had not put anything in it. Then the reception person said probably the battery was worn off and he would replace it. He never did. The AC also was not working. Not cooling at all. Complained. but no action taken. Overall very disappointed with the staff attitude and unresponsiveness. The Free WiFi also disconnects every 5 mins !!!

Terrible bed, concave and probably from the 70s. Dirty room and rude employees. I truly would not go back if they paid me to.

Love the place. Will stay there next time again!!!
