Very clean, modern hotel. Friendly staff. Helpful with local restaurants and recommendations for local sightseeing. Would definitely return

Staff was very friendly and helpful

This used to be my favorite hotel, but every time I come here, something gets downgraded. This time, room service (Piadina) didn’t answer the phone when I called repeatedly to order breakfast. The sink in the bathroom was clogged.

My only complaint is that our room was under the roof top bar and was extremely noisy until around midnight, otherwise everything was great!

The rugs smelled like dog poo and when we moved them they had pee stains under them. Bathroom was not very clean either.

The location was great for access to downtown SLO and the rooms are spacious. Nice amenities such as robes, slippers, water and coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful. One suggestion is to avoid room facing the pool. There’s some area not in the hotel that seems to play music most of the day and you can hear it.

The hotel is in a great location. Everyone was friendly and there are taps for still and sparkling water. Great bar too!

I was really excited to stay here because of the walkability and how cute it looked. However I think we had the absolute worst room possible. Don’t stay in room 209. It’s the only room that shares a wall to the gym and the room starts rattling at 5am or so from people dropping weights. Also the thermostat didn’t work so we went downstairs to tell the front desk and they set the room to 68 but it was absolutely freezing and if I turned it off it just turned back on because they had to set it from the front desk. We had to go down at 5am to tell them to turn it up or let us turn it off. I’ve just never slept so bad. Don’t stay in that room whatever you do.

Were offered a discount of 20% when we checked in as we are Cal Poly parents, completed the necessary form online but at checkout were denied the discount. Staff claimed it was because we prepaid through 3rd party. They should write this on their website!! This is not a hotel to stay for comfort, room is not cozy at all. No drawers to unpack--small drawer next to bed. A/C blows directly on bed & sofa. Hi Bar was inaccessible Fri night due to capacity so that was disappointing. Good for one night, 3 was too many. Would not stay again, too much money for not much comfort. Pool area lovely. Great location.

Lovely, chill hotel with attentive and friendly service that was relaxed. Plus, they accept dogs! Valet parking also was the good and they have EV chargers! Great views, too.

Beautiful hotel with exceptional service. Perfect location in downtown to walk to everything. Loved all the little extras that made you feel taken care of like the water ready in the fridge, the nesspresso machine, couple snacks, free coffee downstairs and water refills by the ice machines. I can tell how clean a place is by how dirty my toddlers feet get from the floors and they stayed clean! Definitely will be my go to place when visiting my daughter.

Wonderful but overpriced for what you get

A two night staycation in SLO that did not disappoint. Staff was exceptional and the Hotel is a gem, with the best location in town and the best rooftop view.

The rooms were spacious and clean and so nice. The wood floors were so appealing. The beds were very comfortable. Linens were lovely. There was sufficient lighting and these days that’s a plus, although one of of my lamps was broken. My only complaint was the sliding heavy bathroom door. Prefer a real door that opens closes and locks. On a 2 week, 4 different hotel experiences, This one was the most comfortable…. The others were 5 star ones Highly recommend the Hotel San Luis Obispo

Pricey but nice would not stay with teenage sons again bc no privacy in bathroom layout

It gave us European vibes! Pizza dough and service was excellent.
