Overall this was a great experience. It was conveniently located for me to attend church programs. The employees were very nice and polite they made my visit. When I had anything I needed they were quick to resolve. The only negative is the bed was hard.

If you like swimming then this could be a good place for you. Stunning 25m pool that is rarely used. Start the day with a pre breakfast swim. Rooms are clean and have everything you need. Internet is generally good. The hotel is fairly well located, close to other offices and shops. However, there are not really any good places to sit and have a meeting at the hotel. Only the tables near reception. Breakfast is the usual buffet options that you get at major hotels. Staff were responsive to suggestions, adding more fresh fruit. Would be great if they had a coffee machine too. Overall the style is a little impersonal, but the staff and pool balance this if that is important to you.

The Food was terrible. Oily and unhealthy. Mr. Stewart became terribly ill after consuming just a salad. There is no catering geared for health-conscious or Vegetarian Guests. The Front Desk did not understand our requirements despite numerous emails There is no Airport Shuttle Service - and although the Lady at the Front Desk offered to secure a Taxi at our expense - the Taxi never showed up at the Airport !

Our check-in experience awful. They put us in a room that I didn't book and wasn't ready for guests. Nearly every staff encounter was either uncomfortable in some way (assume because we're a gay couple) or unprofessional (e.g., ~6 staff members lounging in the gym when we tried to work out). Facilities sub-par: 1) no gym equipment fully functional, 2) construction everywhere with 'unsafe - use detour' without instructions on where a detour was located, 3) dirty pool, 4) extremely slow internet. We had bad experiences with both hotel restaurants. We went to the Chinese restaurant for a sit-down meal, but the insects were so bad inside that we ended up ordering food to be delivered to the room. The food then took 1.5 hours to deliver (after I had to call), and they didn't provide everything we needed to eat (i.e., plates). Every meal we had at the Western restaurant was terrible. On one occasion, we ordered a pizza, chicken sandwich, and 2 salads for room service, which they said would take 20 min. After an hour, we got a call that they had made a mistake on the pizza and asked if we wanted them to remake it. I asked for timeline, and the woman laughed at me -- '20 minutes.' I told her to just bring the food up as is. After 30 min, I called again for them to bring it up. They finally delivered the (cold) food without silverware or salad dressing, and I had to call again -- 2 hours total to receive our meal. I'm in Lilongwe every month for work, and will never stay here again.

Not so good. Toilet was blocked less than 24hrs of visit. Wasn't impressed by the smell at the reception area and western restuarant. Card machine at the restuarant also didn't work for 2days in a row.

Clean, quite, no cockroaches like you find in other Lilongwe hotels. Well lit and easy to navigate making you feel secure at all times. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel staff: friendly and helpful. Restaurant: below standard. Choice of menu for buffet is not western as claimed. Their chefs need some training in modern western food and dishes. Very few soft drink available to order. No non-sugar drinks available. Not catering for diabetics. Room: Clean. Hotel wifi: very poor. Couldn’t connect most of the time or no wifi available.

Rooms not very clean, poor language skills (English) by most staff. Paying by credit card proved difficult and staff not very accommodating or proactive to facilitate payment. Gym poorly equipped with old machines, very little in the way of dumpbells, no towels or means to wipe down equipment. Restaurant service was terrible. On meal was so bad (rib eye steak) that it could not be cut even with a steak knife. Staff did take it off the bill and substituted with an acceptable chicken dinner but it meant eating after my business colleague had already finished.
