Pros:Antonella and Rosario, our hosts, were super friendly and helpful in settling us into our room, and giving us information about the area. Our room and facilities we could not fault. Location within walking distance to historical area and local restaurants. Parking was relatively easy. Cons: We checked in on a Saturday and the street noise, that night, until 230am was quite distracting. Sunday night was far better. Left on Monday so cannot comment on weekdays. Overall a very positive experience.

Excellent choice, location was perfect 2m walk to the Duomo, restaurants and transportation. Rosario was exceptional, very helpful … emailed me all I needed to know as to what to see, where to eat and where to shop. Highly recommend this property.

Apartment was located 100 meters from the Piazza Duomo, shopping and restaurants. Great spot for a day to explore Messina or take the ferry to mainland Italy. Breakfast was not included in the booking but the host provided it for free anyway. Highly recommend this B&B.

The property was well-located and quiet. However, it could have more comfortable pillows, and the air conditioner should be adjusted. Sometimes, the place was too hot. The internet connection is poor, as it does not reach the entire room. The TV is small but enough. I enjoyed the stay in this place.

Great location for exploring Messina. Room was large and quiet. Only little gripes: the shower didn’t get hot enough and the bed was uncomfortable. Great communication from the host was appreciated. Overall very good.

This B&B was quiet and classy. The amenities and beautiful decor were perfect and we enjoyed our stay. Parking was typical city parking, not the easiest but doable. Once we parked, we didn’t need the car and we easily walked to dinner and in the surrounding neighborhood. The kitchen was very well appointed. We would highly recommend

Extremely nice property

Antonella made self check in easy, and Rosario was kind and left us a beautiful surprise for our Anniversary with towel swans on our bed. We also enjoyed visiting with Rosario at breakfast in the kitchen. We chose the accommodation due to it was close to the cathedral. It was clean and comfortable.

The location is perfect for getting around Messina. The decor has been beautifully and lovingly curated. What makes this place stand out is the owners who work as a team to make your stay perfect. I got very sick and was hospitalized while staying there. Antonella called the ambulance and gave my wife updates since no one at the hospital spoke English. She even called a taxi when she found out I was being discharged. We will never forget Antonella and Rosario's kindness. We would give this spot 10 stars if possible.

A fantastic location 200 Meters from Cathedral very close to train and bus a well equipped very clean kitchen a voucher for a coffee and pastry at a lovely nearby cafe. Hostess very helpful and always available. Good Wi-Fi a very pleasant place to stay in the centre of Messina

Our two night stay in Messina was a quite pleasant. B&B II Galleone is an amazingly beautiful bed & breakfast facility; clean and nicely decorated. Good location; walking distance to some attractions such as the Duomo as well as the train station. We attended a free concert at the Duomo the first night we were there; a pleasant surprise. Ample local transit, no problem getting around Messina.
