Everyone really friendly

Love this hotel, great staff . Excellent breakfast

A nice, basic, very clean room. The electric power to the bathroom blew with a bang and couldn't be fixed until morning so, with no other available room, showers and washing was by torch for most of the visit! These things happen but need attention. Food was okay if not great but service was consistently friendly and restaurant had good atmosphere.

Great welcome and service from friendly staff. Nice restaurant/bar area with great food and drink options. 1 night stay after return flight, lovely dinner and excellent breakfast. Nice room but mattress on the soft side for our liking but difficult to please everyone in that respect. Overall excellent stay and would definitely stay again if in the area.

Brilliant place

What a great place , everyone was fantastic and the guys and girls all bend over backwards for you. Definitely not our last stay there. Food is amazing and drinks are reasonable prices .

Lovely staff, room was good size and warm too, bed very comfortable, had a great sleep! Good choice at breakfast and the full english was fresh and of good quality. Would definitely recommend to anyone and stay here again ourselves..

We stayed here as a stopover on our trip for 2 nights. The room was standard, and bed comfortable. There was a musty smell in the room. Small issue, but no hair dryer in the room. The shower was great. We used the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. Breakfast was a nice selection and many options for dinner. The staff service was excellent and friendly.

Stayed 15/3, 1 night, room 7. There for a concert at the City Hall. Lovely room, clean, tidy, warm, tea and coffee facilities, hand soap, tv....everything you need. Grounds around were great, bet it will be stunning in the. Summer. Had early bird supper, really nice food, and decent portions, carbonarra to die for. Breakfast great, good range of pastries, yogs, fruit, jams etc, teas and coffee and juices. Also cooked breakfast, order taken at table, not buffet, service was great. We got back late and lively gent in restaurant got us extra milk for a cup of tea before bed. Thank you. All in all a great stay. Taxi into city was £20 each way, could have used our own car but parking near venue was problematic. A real hidden gem and we will return. Oh and super quiet, no traffic and dogs allowed 😄

Came up to watch football and visit family as was recommended to stay here. The room was so warm when we walked in and slept so well as it was so quiet. The staff were all lovely too :-) we will be back again next time we come visit
