Very Disappointing Stay — Poor Service and Unfulfilled Promises Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was very disappointing and fell well short of expectations. Despite being advertised as a luxury boutique hotel, it felt far more like a standard business hotel. The rooms are small, although the bathrooms are large and the showers excellent — powerful and modern. Sadly, there was a persistent drain smell coming from the bathroom that also affected the bedroom. Our family, staying in another room, had the same issue, so it seems to be a wider problem. There is also ongoing construction directly across the street, starting early and continuing late, making it hard to get a peaceful night’s sleep. The only real positives were the cleanliness of the rooms and the excellent housekeeping staff. Breakfast was decent, with good allergen information and a pleasant atmosphere, though the cooked dishes were inconsistent — the poached eggs were underdone one morning and overdone (and very slow to arrive) the next. The gentleman serving at breakfast was lovely and one of the few genuinely warm members of staff we encountered. In contrast, the reception staff were cold and unaccommodating. Before our stay, I emailed twice (once in English and once in Spanish) to mention we were visiting for my 40th birthday and asked if the hotel could do anything small to mark the occasion. Excellent in every respect - the staff are outstanding, so helpful and literally treat you like royalty - room was spotless and beautiful - bathroom equipped with hairdryer and straighteners - close to town - great bar, will definitely come back - loved it !

Lovely hotel - small but had everything we needed (great hairdryer). Breakfast was really good - staff remembered what we liked. Right in the middle of the old part of town with all the shops five mins away. Hop on hop off bus stop just around the corner. Rooms kept really clean - BBC news channel available on the TV. Shower was amazing.

Enjoyed our stay here . Great location , friendly service , rooms clean and great showers . Breakfast was really good too especially the freshly brewed tea and coffee . We didn’t get a chance to eat in the resteraunt but even night it was buzzing and it felt like we were staying in a very popular place to hang out ! Best bit was the friendly staff .

We had a lovely 1-night stay at the hotel. Lovely room with large bathroom (lovely toiletries)! Great central location - no parking which can be a bit tricky but we managed to find a space about 7-8 minutes walk away. The check-in staff were so lovely when we arrived 2.5 hours later than planned (due to delayed flight) - they checked us in quickly and sorted out a table for us at the restaurant (even though it was 10pm). The food at both dinner and breakfast was lovely and the restaurant//bar staff were really friendly.

Great location! Walking distance from shops, restaurants, markets, cathedral etc. The hotel itself is beautiful. Great lobby restaurant/ cafe. The service was fantastic. The room was clean but very small.

Lovely, small hotel with a cosy, welcoming interior. Impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. Excellent, central location, and very friendly, helpful staff. I wouldn't stay anywhere else if I returned to Valencia.
