The hotel was an gem, the staff were all very helpful and friendly. Lydia, Kobby (?), and Isaac went out of their ways to make my stay pleasant and I am telling anyone I know who goes to Ghana to check this place out. When I come back, this is where I will stay.

The bed mattress was hard and therapeutic! I loved it!!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The TV in my room only had 2 channels so I did not get to see any Ghanaian TV. The mosquitoes were awful. You would have to request the staff to spray your room while you are out. The location is on an unpaved road close to Spintex Rd. The courtyard is beautiful and the hotel was safe. They are building a BEAUTIFUL apartment complex behind the hotel. There were many electrical outages but they were short, thanks to the generator (smile). The price is reasonable considering the age of the hotel and the fact that there is no fitness room nor a swimming pool. I would recommend the Sheridan Hotel for budget-conscious travelers.

Looks nice outside, but it's like a haunted w* house. I personally advice every one not to book there. The personnel is a nightmare. Never rendered our paid services, plus the frogs are like a professional chorus at night, makes one not to sleep. The food is like prisoner's food. The only edible food is the jollof rice. Do not order the beef n rice, the beef is practically dry n burned and you don't get what you paid for. Sometimes they give you three tiny pieces, sometimes six tiny pieces, no consistency. For 2 months we had a cracked bath tub with mold around it. Told the staff, they totally ignored us. Also, a broken bathroom sink for over two weeks. Also, no electric for two days for 5 to 6 hours straight each day. All this place cares about is taking your money. Don't let the garden and flowers fool you. One more thing, the Veranda on the second floor is for looks only. When it's not even night time, they close the door and you feel like you are in prison. They say "oh it's for the mosquitos" meanwhile during the day, the maids open every window and doors of each unit and all the mosquitos come in to haunt you at night. I also forgot to mention that the mattresses (low to the ground beds) are like a hard rock with bed bugs. Each night we were eating alive, after complaining to them, we were told to purchase our own insect repellent. The couches are also contaminated with bugs and spiders. Requested them to change it and they refused meanwhile.....

My family felt at home staying at this hotel. The surroundings were clean and well kept. The staff were friendly, courteous and always willing and ready to assist. They would go the extra mile to make the guest comfortable.
