Stayed here for one night whilst walking the South West Coast Path. Ideally situated in the centre of the village on the Cornwall/Devon border. Serves food which was very reasonably priced. The breakfast was very good

Great central location, great breakfast and staff very good, just noisy but you are sleeping over the pub and in the central location so a lot of passing human traffic.

The room and en-suite were very good above a very popular pub in the heart of a wonderful village which is traditional Cornwall but close enough to Plymouth to made it a great break but close to home. Great walks start and end in the village which is very friendly.

Fantastic friendly service. Big bedroom and bathroom, all very clean. The only slight criticisms would be that the curtains are white and very thin so the room was very light from 5:30am making it hard to sleep. There was also no mirror in the room however front desk staff quickly rectified this by allowing us to take the mirror hung in the corridor, I would recommend leaving that mirror in the room (Room 2). Overall an excellent two night stay.

Ridiculous cancellation policy. I was exhausted from walking from cremmyl with my 31lbs backpack, and also desperate because it was supposed to rain soon and I didn't have where to go.. booked thru Expedia (another huge mistake) cause I found an amazing price.. what I did not realize, tho, was that I was booking for the following month. As soon as I reached the property, less than 15 minutes later, I talked to the manager and found out my mistake and she refused to give me any refund or even to try and accommodate me for that night. Expedia also refused to provide anything and the chat assistant is sh!t. Anyways, I don't recommend halfway house inn to anyone!! Don't stay here!!

Lovely little pub, right on the harbour at Kingsland. Good food menu, plenty of choice. Lovely clean room with a good ensuite. Only downside was the parking, paid parking off site, but that's pretty common for these sort of areas. Breakfast was a little bit late to suit me, 9-10am is quite late for a breakfast, especially if you're travelling for business.

This is a lovely old inn with fabulous character. Rooms were clean, however a little dated in decor. The staff were friendly. Parking was a pay and display but only the corner and reasonably priced.

Had a magical evening last night at the Halfway House inn, down to lovely staff, very cosy bar to eat in and the amazing local choir giving us all a fantastic singalong! Very memorable evening in a very special pub in a very special place.

Pleasantly Quirky bed and breakfast. Dog friendly. Great staff. Great food. Room comfortable and clean. Could do with a new blind in the bathroom as the widow was clear glass and privacy was limited. The TV seemed to have its own agenda. It would come on during the night. None of this spoiled our stay.

We were delighted with this pub b&b located 10 seconds away from the sea, however, no sea views but could hear the waves from our bed when the tide was in. We had chosen room 5, big enough bedroom and very big bathroom, only drawback is that it's over the pub bar although this didn't bother us. Only thing that we would change is that breakfast is not until 9am which held us up.

Very good location in the village just beside the beach. Very pleasant and friendly staff. Good sized room and ensuite, but carpets look a bit dated. Good dinner and very generous breakfast. Convenient car park beside Inn

Lone traveller staying three nights. Single room very comfortable and clean, with good size en-suite. Staff made me feel welcome and comfortable. Breakfast: Flexible on items chosen and how cooked. Loved my poached eggs and grilled tomatoes. Evening meals enjoyable, good honest pub food, nicely presented, large portions. Unfortunately I didn’t sample starters and deserts because I struggle to eat two courses. COVID19 compliance was good.
