This was the second time staying at the Divi Golf village and it was less impressive this time around.
First, I will state the first 4 days were excellent, the food, beach, and all inclusive were terrific. There were a few minor issues like one of the bedroom lights would just come on at random at night, and service was slow at many of the venues, especially the bar at the infinity pool and Sea Breeze bar and grille.
The last night, not so good.
One of our party woke up on the morning of our departure completely ill with digestive issues and was unable to travel. We assume it was either something she ate or a stomach bug.
When we went to consult the front desk about our options they were more concerned about getting their all-inclusive wristbands back than her health. I volunteered to have her come to the lobby and get sick all over it, to which the staff finally relented and started to help.
They did allow her to stay another night to recover at a reduced rate, and thankfully she was well enough to travel home the next day.
I doubt we'll stay at the Divi Village again as we visited several other more upscale and more modern resorts for our next trip to the happy island.
