The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are separate from the main building, some further than others. The room was spacious and clean with nice decor and style. Beds were very comfortable Setting is beautiful, with a lovely view of the mountains and sunset. Nice infinity swimming pool. There were a few things that didn't seem in keeping with the price of the hotel. There was no matress protector or pillow covers. No separate bath and shower toiletries were provided. The portions in the restaurant were very variable, some being quite small, and breakfast could have been more varied with cakes or pastries. WiFi was good but only available in the main building and not the rooms.

Somehow I thought the reviews of the property were not that great, but when we arrived the lodge exceeded our expectations. The main area is beautifully decorated and the individual rooms have sufficient privacy and are well equipped.

Wonderful. Super friendly staff. The lodge was an oasis from the heat of town. The rooms are clean, well equipped. A great place to rest your bones after the long, hard travel requires to get to Opuwo. Amazing view of the valley to the west

Overall an excellent experience. Great pool with views and good food. Especially liked the tour of the local tribal village.

The place is one of the best, the rooms are clean, nice and quiet. Room service is proper. The pool is just excellent.

A pretty hotel with an amazing view at the pool. Unfortunately this place is a bit expensive for what they offer. The standard rooms are tucked away from the luxury rooms and are dark, depressing, forgotten afterthoughts. We upgraded to a luxury room, which are much much nicer inside, but the views of the surrounding hills/area for all of the rooms are obstructed by small trees. A little maintenance to the standard rooms, drop the prices a bit, clear the few small trees to allow guests to have a better view from their rooms and this place would be great. The staff is wonderful, the dinners are a bit on the heavy side(but tasty) and the views from the bar/dinner/pool area are amazing. Options are a limited in Opuwo and this place is definitely on the higher end for your wallet.

This hotel is strong on regulations and has a dreadful approach road. It has a great pool. The rooms have no fridge.
