The downsides to this hotel are not having any dining or shopping options nearby outside of breakfast hours. The front desk staff was a bit of a let down as well but the room itself and the cleanliness overall of the building was fantastic.

Good breakfast, good housekeeping, the staff at the front desk isn’t the most helpful and wish they had a better snack selection to purchase

It was overall a great stay. My only complaint would be that the pool is a bit small if you’re into that, but I didn’t use it so it was perfect. 18 min walk to Disney, VERY clean and new, amazing stay!

After a mix up with our rooms (2) in the beginning, this hotel was very accommodating. They went over and beyond to get us into two beautiful, adjoining rooms. It is a very nice and clean property. If you don't mind a little walk, it was a very close (about 15 minutes) and safe walk to Disneyland. I was expecting a little more selection for breakfast, but nevertheless it was free and my grandkids filled up on fruit. I would definitely stay here again.

One of the best stays my family and I have ever had. They are really clean, and family friendly as a whole. I would recommend and we will be staying here anytime we are in town.

We stayed for 8 nights and overall had a great experience! Pros: Walkable to Disneyland (about 12 mins) and right next to GardenWalk for food, shopping, and kid activities. Breakfast was great every morning with gluten-free options (would love to see pork bacon alongside turkey bacon though!). Having a full kitchen with a full-size fridge and microwave was a huge plus. Beds were okay — not the best but not the worst. Water pressure in the shower was amazing! Cons: The sleeper sofa isn’t great for adults — better suited for kids. No fan in the bathroom, which could be an issue for some. (Luckily, I always come prepared with fragrance — Scentsy Consultant by trade!) Freeway noise didn’t bother me but did bother the light-sleeper in our group. Communicating with housekeeping was a little tricky; we often had to request extra towels and toilet paper for our group of 5. Pool was nice but really wished there was a hot tub after long park days. Overall, I would stay here again.

Our stay was ok. We didn’t like the bathroom setup with sliding door. We felt there is no privacy using the bathroom. We were also confused on why we got charged an additional $50 for fees and parking when checking in! It was not stated on hotels.com that we would be charged an additional fee. We were under the impression that our price is what we pay with fees included. We’ve always booked through this site and have never ever paid extra when checking in at a hotel but the Element Hotel did charge us extra fees. Pool was cold and small hotel is ok. There are so many other hotels with nicer facilities and closer to DL and DCA. I had already booked another stay for May at the element hotel before staying and it’s non refundable for May and now we are wanting to cancel after staying the first time since we feel deceived about the extra fees and don’t like the room set up and location.

Very nice and clean, newer hotel. The only issue my friend and I had were with the front desk. I had already paid online for my hotel room, when I went to check in the front desk, person said that she thought that she had to charge me for the room because it didn’t look like I paid. I told her I’d already paid it online but I could not pull up the receipt at that time for some reason and it was 1130 pm and we just wanted to go to bed. Also, taking $200 for incidentals is a ridiculous as there is no Mini bar or anything of the sort that you would even take. In the morning when I checked out, I showed them my receipt and the guy said that he thinks everything is fine but they’ll charge me if they need to. I still don’t understand this whole system. I told him I’m going be checking that I didn’t receive any charges because I already paid. It seems to me like they’re trying to do a bait and switch, which I will not have any part of. In all my years of staying at hotels, I have never come across anything like this as I always pre-pay and the hotel knows this. I have also never been told that I have to pay a $200 incidental deposit at other facilities. They simply take your credit card information in case they need to charge you but they do not charge you unless they need to. With my friends booking, even though she had called and talked to a manager about the price that she was going to be paying for her booking, they insisted they had charge her more than that.

My family and I enjoyed being able to walk to Disney Land from our hotel. Along the way the scenery outside was beautiful and we stopped at a few shops and restaurants. The breakfast was always enjoyable and hot and fresh. The staff were very friendly. We would stay here again.

I would say I booked this property for the breakfast. It is so helpful for a Disney property to have breakfast for those going to the park early in the morning. However, the breakfast here was I would say 1 or 2 out of 10. A lot of the times the cereals were out or yogurts definitely vegan friendly. I wish there would’ve been more regular options. Or at least waffles and cereal daily for those who did not have a gluten-free or vegan diet. It was odd to say the least, not many options and I wouldn’t say most kids like eating soy chorizo eggs as the only option of eggs available as well as Raisin Bran and corn flakes
