I was showering when I heard the phone rang at 9.10am. Rushed out all wet and naked to answer the call from the restaurant staff informing me that breakfast would be available until 10am. This was on the fifth day of my stay (9 Nov-15 Nov, 2025) in Sonaview Hotel and it was also the FIRST time in my countless hotel stays of my overseas trips that I got a call informing me of the closing time for breakfast.
And also, on the morning of check out, I requested for hotel transport to the jetty to be on standby. But the female staff on duty at the front desk failed to heed the urgency of my request (as I did not want to miss my ferry) and just told me to be patient.
As for the room, the bed linens are dirty and smelly (which were not changed once during my 6-day stay).
The same went for the foot towel outside the bathroom.
In addition, the bath towels (though changed daily) had holes in them and looked like they were not properly washed.
