This was an A+ experience from start to finish. They accommodated me for a late check-in and I slept comfortably for the night. Everything was within walking distance

Disappointing return, this is our second time staying and there was no proper AC in our room so we didn’t fully enjoy that. The fridge also kept nothing cold. We were celebrating a birthday and it was nothing exciting or fun about it. We complained about the AC not working and we were told we would get complimentary brunch and we only received one $18 voucher. We didn’t even use it because it wouldn’t have cover food or a drink. So that’s was just extra disappointing, we will not be coming back.

Super nice hotel, loved the room, great size, 23rd floor had a nice view. 2 minute walk to the metro, and super accessible for everything around.

The front desk was quick with check in. The lobby smelt really good also. The room was nice, it was small but was fine for us. The bed/bedding/pillows were amazing, we both slept great. The bed was soft but not too soft. The pillows were down- I think the blanket was also (for anyone with allergies). There was a small stain on the carpet right when you walk in and there also was a wet spot on the carpet which I stepped in (wouldn’t have known it was wet unless you stepped on it- so not faulting hotel was just a bummer). There were a few paint chips missing next to light switch in bathroom which is nitpicking but for a higher end hotel I would assume they would fix those minor things asap.

Friendly, professional staff; modern convenience without losing the character of a historic building; convenient parking next door.

My husband and I stayed at the Rand for our 17th anniversary celebration. The hotel is utterly beautiful and the art deco style marveled. The only downside was the elevators breaking down on the day of checkout without any notification from the staff. While we love getting exercise, walking up 19 flights of stairs wasn't on my agenda. Overall, the rooms were clean and staff were very pleasant.

This location was extremely clean, and very comfy. Parking is pricey at $40 a day. The shower was the best part of the room. I would definitely be back when I am in the area. Staff isn’t so great at all but the stay was great.

The room was just fine, when we checked in I wasn’t told about anything, they just wanted ID and credit card then told me room number. Had breakfast Sunday by lobby and only had 1 person working, he was trying his best but service wasn’t real good, he could’ve used help. Then when going to leave the elevators weren’t working, walk down 12 flights carrying our luggage

The service wasn’t efficient no direction. Hotel doesn’t have any convenience's. The price is strictly for the location of the hotel. And they haven’t processed the final charge to release the hold on my account I’ve stayed at several hotels and upon check out received my deposit back

Ice machine was broke - 7 floors to find working one. Elevator broke on check out day. After 15 minutes waiting to leave for the elevator, another guest shared that it was broke. We carried a great deal of luggage 11 floors to exit. 91 degree weather. Disappointed (and sweaty).

Only one elevator was working. Long waits. Access to the parking ramp is complicated. We could use some better signage, ended up going to the ramp by walking outside the property.

Great ACs, great water pressure in the showers, overall really good. The only thing is the elevators break all the time.
