Friendly, courteous staff... comfortable bed (one mattress, not two zipped together)... quiet breakfast area... I enjoyed the tie-in with Bloomsbury art and literature - subtle, but gave a real sense of the famous district where the hotel is located.

This hotel is conveniently located near Russell Square, British Museum and the Picadilly Line. Older building with nice modern touches. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. "The Library" was a great place for a yummy breakfast or a late nightcap.

Great hotel Awesome staff. From the moment we checked in, we felt at home. Nice breakfast area and bar. Walking distance to a nice Pub (The Swan) Great fish and chips. Also walking distance to British Museum. They truly made us feel welcome.

This is a great hotel. Excellent location right beside Russell Square tube on the Piccadilly Line and 10 minutes from Euston. Loads of very tasty cafes and restaurants closeby. Staff were super helpful especially Mimi, room was spotless, lovely aircon and very comfortable bed.

This hotel is excellent value, however foods are limited and it is NOT suitable if you have any mobility issues. All the staff are very attentive and friendly. On the whole I would recommend this place.

We loved everything about this hotel. The location was excellent. The staff and in particular Mimi were wonderful. Made you feel at home. Super helpful and accommodating. Felt at home our entire stay.

Had an amazing stay. Was celebrating a 10 year wedding anniversary with my husband and our room was upgraded. We were so grateful and really enjoyed our stay.

Good location and base. 2 mins walk to tube station. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff friendly.

Great location. Be advised if you need the elevator the maids literally occupy it for a minimum of 20-40 minutes daily. They do not post when they are using it. We waited almost 20 minutes for the only elevator - I twisted my ankle and couldn’t handle the steps. Then finally when the elevator got to us there were three maids and loads of bags in the elevator. They then giggled like oops and pushed the button to continue on without us. Not impressed with staff. But did love the location

Hotel was lovely. We arrived early, and two rooms were already available and staff were happy to store bags. Loved the room styling. Both room and bath room were very spacious. Bar is very nice to come back to. Area is great, with station down the street and nice options for food and drinks. Thank you to staff, who couldn’t be more friendly and welcoming.

Beautiful hotel that seems to have been recently renovated. We really appreciated the air conditioning! The neighborhood is well connected with a tube station steps away, and great restaurants in the immediate neighborhood

The restaurant food was terrible with minimal selections and no lunch options. Dinner was only leftover entrees with no soup salad or anything to go with it. They also do not take cash. The entrance to the hotel is confusing to get to registration in the basement.

Close to Euston and British Museum. Friendly staff. Clean room with good space
