I arrived at the hotel at 6 PM, but there were no staff at the front desk. A phone number was posted at the entrance for contact. When I called, a male staff member answered with an impatient tone. He tried to instruct me on how to open the small box next to the entrance, but I just couldn’t figure it out. Frustrated, he rushed over on his motorcycle to help me open it so I could check in.
The hotel was renovated in 2024, but I feel like only certain parts were refurbished. The bedding and furniture were not replaced. The room’s hygiene was terrible—the pillowcases and bedsheets were extremely dirty, stained, and dusty. The toilet still had yellow urine stains, and the bed frame was covered in dust. There was no TV in the room, the bright yellow paint was too glaring, and it was impossible to turn off all the lights completely, which affected my sleep quality.
On the second night, the entire hotel experienced a power outage, except for the lobby. It took more than an hour to restore electricity, and all the guests were suffering from the heat.
Don’t be fooled by the official photos. There is a newly opened hotel nearby called LINN, which is much better than this one. Stay here only if you’re on a tight budget.
