Thought the room had a view of the Matterhorn but view was of building next door. But, nice place and great staff.

Hotel Tannenhof was excellent on all levels. Staff incredibly friendly and informative, responsive to requests, food at the hotel was incredible and very cool (Don't miss it!), rooms are comfortable, enough room, beds very comfortable and the hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Zermatt, steps away from shops, view of the Matterhorn and easily accessible from the train, and the per night price is reasonable.

Amazing hotel with great location and beautiful views of city and Matterhorn. Very attentive staff. Gentlemen at front desk even came in to work 15 mins earlier in the morning to help us bring down our luggage for our early morning departure. We had 2 room apartment on top floor with amazing sky view windows and balcony.

Recently refurbished and very nice. Great quiet location but close to main street in Zermatt. Would go back for sure!

The hotel is beautiful, very clean, perfect location. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get the air conditioner to work & we were hot until we opened the window. That was great until 7am when construction on the hotel next door resumed. Sleep was out of reach for us; completely out of everyone’s control, including the hotel.

We stayed at Hotel Tannenhof for one night. Location is 10min walk from the train station. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff were lovely and very helpful in showing us the best view points and local walks.

Patricia and Victoria were very friendly and made check in and out easy. They answer all our questions!!

Great spot to stay in Zermatt. Property was recently renovated and looks great.

Loved this cozy little hotel! Very nice and clean. Beds were comfy, and staff was friendly. The free breakfast was great, and I liked that the hotel had a bar for a night cap. 10/10 would recommend!

Beautiful hotel, recently updated. Loved the balcony! Our room was nicely decorated with a large tv and plenty of storage. Well planned for a smaller space. Breakfast was very good.

The hotel and staff were very nice and the location was great but we were not advised in advance that the hotel was in the middle of a construction zone with jack hammers going all day.

Lovely stay at the Tannenhof. We loved everything about it. Highly recommended.

Probably the best hotel room I’ve ever stayed at. Excellent architecture. Layout was fantastic. We had the family room so a separate room for the large bed and a separate small room for two twin beds. Large open seating room. Bathroom was fantastic. Beautiful. But more importantly functional and with safety in mind. Beautiful marble but in the shower on the floor were several wide non slip strips. Most of the showers I experience when traveling are slippery and therefore dangerous. Real though by an experienced builder and architect went into this fabulous place.
