A pretty village pub in a lovely location. Spacious room ( we were given an upgrade), very comfortable bed. Excellent well cooked breakfast. But best of all the very welcoming friendly and efficient staff. They could not have been more charming and helpful

Lovely pub with incredible food and great staff. The room was a bit noisy (thin walls maybe) but everything else was ideal.

Lovely pub hotel, lots of character but a bit tired in places. Cosy bar area and nice food. Delicious breakfast.

The Ram Inn is a lovely country pub with great rooms. The staff couldn't have been more helpful in looking after everything for us.

Charming Inn full of character, staff were excellent and the food was delicious. The rooms we booked were a bit tired and beds could be better for the price of over £200 for I night bed and breakfast.

Our sixth visit, the Inn is based in an enchanting village , just a few minutes drive from Glyndebourne Opera House, Every room is completely different, some very small, others offering plenty of space. Breakfast excellent. Staff willing, if sometimes a bit amateur. Slightly irritating that guests cannot run up a tab , but have to pay for any expenditure on odd coffees or beers on the spot: a bit unsophisticated.

The village is picturesque and the walking, which is what we came for, was wonderful.

Very low value for money. A shabby bedroom in a shabby building. We could not properly open the window and a deliver/collection truck made lots of noise at 6 AM. Breakfast opened at 9 AM far after we left. This is a rip off

We were excited for our stay as we were exploring the South Downs. The Ram was £150 per night, which is very high for a pub outside school holidays so we had high hopes. However the room was dirty, very small and incredibly noisy. All night until the early morning there were loud voices, banging, door slamming and TVs blaring out until 2am. Pubs are always noisier than hotels and we were expecting that, but for £150 the room was not clean, the bathroom was tiny and the floor flooded from the shower door being on the outside. The noise was awful and the walls are paper thin. Loud footsteps stomping above us all night. It's a lovely location in a beautiful village, and the food was fantastic, but on the whole the Ram was hugely overpriced and we were very disappointed.

We got our room 2,5 hours too late just to find an unclean room with a squeaky bed which also turned out to be very noisy from both other rooms and the pub. Although we asked the management to mend our bed it was never sorted out. The restaurant's food was not good and still quite expensive. However, great breakfast and location very nice for the price of a five star hotel...
