Great place

Beautiful area

Nice hotel in quaint old town of Murten. Lots of restaurants nearby as well as hotels own one. Lovely view of the lake from the breakfast room. Good continental breakfast. We stayed for one night as a stopover travelling from the Swiss Alps up to Germany. Easy parking outside hotel which also has garage if required.

THE BEST LOCATED HOTEL IN MURTEN. LOVELY PEOPLE AND SERVICE. LOBBY COFFEE WAS A GOOD BONUS. WE GOT ONE OF THE 6 FREE PARKING PLACES FOR OUR THEEE DAY STAY ALSO A BONUS. ROOM WAS GOOD ENGLISH TV STATIONS. ONLY DOWNSIDE, NEDDS MORE AND BETTER BED PILLOWS.

Excellent clean hotel not far from the train station easy walk. Lots of nice walks to do around the town and perfect boat rides on the lake. Extremely friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast buffet.

The room is kind of plain but the service, offered upgrade and little extras made it the best stay!

The staff went out of their way to help with a request we had to chill a bottle of wine we brought with us. They provided everything we needed, even though we didn't buy the wine from them. Dinner in their restaurant was lovely and the view of the lake makes it even more special. I liked that the lobby area had chair groupings (and free coffee!) where you could sit and visit away from your room.
