Right in the heart of Barcelona shopping and surprisingly quiet when the windows are closed. The staff were super helpful and friendly and the room had everything I needed (great linens, towels, soap, bath robe, etc). Will definitely be back again!

Terrible cleanliness

A great location and next to a major architectural attraction. The breakfast was amazing and I highly suggest you give it a try. It's worth the money. The room layout was modern, balcony spacious and the bathroom size was perfect.

i liked the hotel location , walking distance from everything anyone wish, transportation, shopping , museums, cafes, restaurants, its it main avenue in Barcelona. its clean but i need to inform them every day to clean my room or it will stay for hours without cleaning. the reception in a very narrow corridor so it's not convenient if 2 persons stands there. amenities in the room are not enough & not the standard of 5 stars hotel, i would rather to have free water bottles instead of empty jug could be refilled from the gym or reception area( very weird) . the staff are helpful & friendly. the room size is acceptable but the terrace was amazing. i didn't like at all that no cabinets & the hangers are located over the mini bar ( short area & not enough).

Incredible stay at Sonder. I would gladly stay here again in future travels. Was the perfect location for walking to any destination and a lot of shops, restaurants, and friendly people. The hotel staff was also incredible!

The hotel is in a great location, near public transportation, shopping, major attractions. The room was spacious, modern and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Our second stay here and it didn't disappoint. Our room was spotlessly clean and well appointed. The beds are comfortable and large, the towels are soft and fluffy, the toiletries are good quality, robes and slippers are provided- all the things you want in a good hotel room. There are tea and coffee making facilities and a minibar with a nice selection of drinks and snacks. The rooms are also large with plenty space unlike other hotels we have stayed at in Barcelona. On this occasion we would give credit to Alba and Richard who looked after us really well. Last time we stayed we had a little balcony on to Paseo de Gracia which was so pretty at Christmas time. This time our view was to the other side and I think it was quieter (though we weren't bothered by noise even facing Paseo) Both times we have stayed here we have had a room service meal and been pleasantly surprised by the quality and also the reasonable price - most hotels charge unreasonably for room service food. There is a good choice and it was all tasty and hot. We also had drinks on the terrace and again were surprised that the pricing was very reasonable with a good selection (and yummy patatas bravas as a little surprise) The restaurant menu looked good too though we didn't have time this trip to try it. The hotel is in a great area- very close to all the lovely shops, with plenty of good restaurants about. We have travelled everywhere on foot from here though there is an underground station close by.

Just stayed one night but loved the Sonder Hotel. I arrived late but was able to get food and a glass of wine - everything was delicious. My room was spotless and loved having the balcony to enjoy a coffee before I headed out. The staff were very helpful and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. They helped book taxis and gave directions on where to go. Breakfast was very tasty too. Highly recommend Sonder!

Great hotel. Easy check in. Friendly staff. Lovely room (we were in a suite) and a fantastic central location.

The location is just phenomenal,courteous staff and the place is immaculately clean.

Location is noisy due to both the main road and the metro below - earplugs are provided in the rooms, which is helpful but also tells you it's a major issue! The bed wasn't very comfortable either, so generally not the best night's sleep. Our a/c also wasn't working when we arrived although that got sorted easily. On the second day the hot water failed, we ended up having to have cold showers just to be able to go out and keep our evening plans. The receptionist I called was surly and didn't offer any sort of apology, although on checkout another receptionist did at least apologise for the inconvenience. I like the Sonder brand and have stayed in some of their other hotels which were great, but this one wasn't what I hoped for, definitely more 4* than 5*.

Nos encanto el lugar, la habitacion limpia y el personal muy amable y atentos! Nos prepararon la habitacion, con flores porque estabamos de luna de miel! Y todo fue excelente! Gracias por la atencion! Nos gustó tambien que se podia solicitar cualquier informacion por la app, sin tener que tener que tener contacto fisico. La ubicacion, es lo mejor de todo! Super recomendado, de ir nuevamente estaremos hospedando nuevamente!!

The hotel is clean, and Diego and his front desk team provided outstanding service! The location is unbeatable, offering stunning views of Passeig de Gracia especially during Christmas when the street is beautifully lit. However, the room temperature was uncomfortably hot, and the front desk informed us that the temperature is centrally managed and cannot be adjusted individually. When we opened the floor length windows for ventilation, it became noisy due to our first-floor location. Although earplugs were provided, sleeping with them for four nights was uncomfortable and ineffective against the noise. The hotel did offer to move us to a third-floor room after two nights, but unfortunately, we couldn't move as my Mom became unwell and needed rest. Additionally, on one of the four nights, the housekeeping staff appeared to have washed our used coffee mugs in the sink but didn’t clean up afterward, leaving coffee water all over the bathroom sink. We reported this to the front desk, shared pictures as requested, and thankfully the issue did not recur. Lastly, while the on-site restaurant is new, the food quality was disappointing. The hospitality from the staff and the fantastic location were the highlights of our stay, but some aspects of the experience fell short of expectations.

Great location. We were there just before Christmas and the street in front was decorated for Christmas. The street was full with people enjoying the display till late at night. Felt very safe.
