This was a bad experience I had while booking a hotel. It turned out Travelio handled the booking. From check-in to check-in, everything wasn't as smooth as usual.
The unit rented by Travelio wasn't fully ready.
1. The Wi-Fi didn't work at all, so I couldn't even watch TV because the smart TV requires an internet connection. My work was severely hampered by the poor cell phone signal on the 31st floor.
2. The power suddenly went out around 11:54 PM in the middle of the night. I checked all the PCBs and meters, and nothing was wrong. I complained to customer service, but they didn't arrive until around 12:30 AM. I was already asleep and had to wait. In the end, I contacted the building engineer to have it fixed. The wait for Travelio's customer service was complicated and took too long.
3. No gallon drinking water provided.
4. Some lights didn't work.
As a result, JD's stay wasn't very pleasant and completely unsatisfactory. Complaints to Travelio customer service were like a broken record: "Please wait, I apologize," but there was no compensation whatsoever, claiming they had followed the correct procedures. Fortunately, I contacted Traveloka, and they offered some reassuring compensation (it wasn't much, but at least Traveloka understood the difficulties I faced with this booking).
Traveloka should review their partnership with Travelio. Their service is very slow and their solutions are unsatisfactory.
