The gravel road into the cabins was horrible. Big potholes that need to be fixed ASAP. When we arrived the driveway into cabin 3 was so tight I had to back up a few times to get into the drive. When we got to the porch/patio area it was awful. The roof was covered in spiderwebs. The furniture was disgusting, it looked as if it had ash or mold on the cushions. The fireplace had roaches in it. The grill was not cleaned. When we stepped inside there were stains on the wall. The fan up the upstairs area wouldn't work. Even if it had, it was so covered in dust we would have regretted turning it on. The couch had an odd stain on it as well. I tried calling the owners twice. I left a message explaining and asking for a call back. It has been 3 days and I still have not heard from them. We left and got us a hotel in the city. Hotels.com can't even get the owners to respond to them. I will upload the few photos I took. Unfortunately I didn't take any inside.

Cute cabin tucked away in the woods. There are other cabins next door, so it’s not as secluded as the pictures make it seem, but there’s plenty of privacy. It’s basically like a tiny home and a treehouse had a baby, it’s small but functional. We had out two teenage daughters with us that stayed in the top loft and every time they were up and moving the whole cabin

The WiFi did not work properly and needed dusting.

Beach for the river, trails to walk, view

Please don't fall for this scam. We got an over-water cabin. This was certainly not Over Water! It also didn't look like the pictures, at all. Dishes were all dirty with food still on them. Sheets and towels were all stained and dirty. They provide a phone number that you can call if you have question, but no one answers that number. Cabins were also very close to each other. You won't have any privacy. Kids knocked at our door in the morning, waking us up! We were very excited about this place, and were hoping we could come back. Specially comparing this place to other cabins, like getaway. We certainly wont after seeing the peoperty. The getaway was certainly a head and shoulder above this place. They're small, but at least you have privacy and the cabins are clean. It was a terrible experience.

PEACEFUL ✴️

Oh what a find. This is so much fun. Outside listening to the frogs right now. The only improvement may be to wash the gable windows upstairs to get an even better view. We will be staying here from now on between Texas and Florida drive. Thanks so much for the incredible vacation.

It was awesome, but the Wi-Fi kept jumping in and out so but everything else really exciting. Really enjoyed it. Thanks a lot.

Property in a pretty, wooded area. Peaceful. The stove could have used a better wipe down and there was dust and cobwebs all over the fan. The inside door handle is broken and the shower caddy fell off in the middle of the night and woke us up. There was a blinking colored porch light on that I couldn't figure out how to turn off and made it hard for me to fall asleep.

Amazing views and peaceful surroundings. We loved all the accomodations.

Great property in the woods in nature. Leaf River is across balcony with bbq and fire pit. Kids loved the stay. Highly recommend

Great little getaway spot! Cabin was as pictured. Beds & pillows are comfortable. Didn’t like the fact that the loft area looks over/down into the master bedroom. (Wasn’t a huge concern for us because we didn’t have anyone else with us, but wanted to let other people know). The only “complaints” I have are check out is way earlier than most; 10:00am is a bit unusual & inconvenient… the dirt road leading to the property is extremely rough; tons of potholes. Overall, our stay was near perfect!

I am not one to leave reviews but I thought I would this time. My husband and I have came here 2 years in a row. We were always so pleased with everything. We just went March 2025 amd we were not pleased. The cabin has really gone down in cleanliness. The large arch windows in the bedroom were filthy. The had spider webs everywhere. The place needs painted bad. The worst thing was the road condition. We were in my husbands Denali truck and the potholes still beat us to death. Now I will say that they are working on the main road but not any work done on the whiskey river road. We dreaded leaving to go eat bc the bumps were HORRIBLE !
