Had everything we needed. Great hosts

A really comfortable weekend stay, easy walking distance to Hadrian’s Wall. The cottage is well equipped and dog friendly, the only downside was the adjacent Milecastle Inn isn’t doesn’t allow dogs inside. They do allow dogs in the beer garden which would be great in good weather but we visited in early March and it wasn’t sitting out weather. Haltwhistle is short drive away with dog friendly pubs, good Fish and Chips shops and supermarkets.
