Average experience, Won't recommend Pros: - Nice location - Quiet - Clean bedding and bathroom Cons: - Dirty coffeemaker (Shared in Pictures) - Hot water smelled pungent. - Restaurant closed on Sunday is a problem considering isolated nature of the place. -Window drapes were short from either side which compromises privacy. - No staff throughout the stay. (Self check in and check out) - Gaps in windows which lead bugs inside the room. - No electric kettle provided considering they provide tea bags.

Had some issues with noise but was rectified.

Nice little motel with dinner and breakfast provided. Convenient for my fishing trip.

Booked through Expedia, arrived went to check in and they did not want to accept the rate or honour it. Staff was very rude. I showed the the confirmation and price and they finally called the manager and adjusted the price. The place is run down, beautiful view but the windows are mouldy so you can see through them.

This is the place to go to experience the beauty of Northern Ontario, Canada! Quiet, clean and amazing staff who are so accommodating and so down to earth. These folks make you feel like family during your stay. Make sure to grab a bite to eat at the restaurant conveniently on site - Route 64 - for some homemade deliciousness! Located right on the French river, beautiful scenery, great fishing and a stargazing haven! I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to escape the hustle and bustle, noise and light pollution of the city…you will leave feeling recharged and at peace 🙏

Didn't see the staff at all. So can't rate them. Key was left in drop box at check in and check out. Nobody came in our room during our 5 day stay. Room was warm and clean. Beds were comfortable. Lots of parking for our vehicle and snowmobile trailer.

It’s a bit dated, the windows were leaky and the faucets were broken but they have tried to update which is great. The room was comfortable and cute

The recent renovations have made this place a very nice stay. The attached restaurant/bar is also very convenient. And the live band they had playing there while we stayed (Tripolar) was one of the best shows i've ever seen. I would stay here again.

Beautiful lake views, with floating jetty and chairs to appreciate the sunset. No lights inside past the door. Internet was down, but mobile service was good enough, with large TV to cast to. Water was oddly yellow and very much not tasty.

No hot water when we arrived and through the evening. No lamps or lights in the room, just one light in the entrance. Internet didn’t work. Carpet was turned up creating a trip hazard. No staff available to address problems. Loud sounds during the night from the water system. At midnight someone with a key burst into our room. Should this hotel really be on Expedia?

The room was ok and recently renovated. But the bathroom had mold , sink did not work properly and not all bulbs above the vanity were actually working. The view from the window was very nice

The rating is lower because the internet was not working. Other than that a nice older property. Very clean room and lots of amenities for the water. One if the best things going is the view from the rooms of river. They should take a little time and clean them.
