I recommend this hotel 100%. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They had activities every day and offered complimentary juices and fruit. The cabins are excellent. If you want to connect with nature, this place is ideal.

Absolutely loved it! Perfect place for feeling lost in the jungle, surrounded by nature and cared for by people who put their heart into it. Reception staff greets you as soon as you step out of the taxi, the check-in feels like you're in the most luxurious of places, and even before arrival - they message you on WhatsApp and arrange all sorts of requests. Breakfast is fantastic, dinner menu at the restaurant is just scrumptious, you get coffee, tea and mate in the room and fruit snacks every day when you get back from visiting Iguazu. On practicalities: reception can order you taxis - they work with a few local drivers; pickup from the airport, a ride to the city centre, the parks or even Brazil can be easily arranged. Taxis take cards, Mercado Pago or cash. The animal sanctuary next door is open from 10 to 5pm, with the last tour going at 4:30 pm.

This property is absolutely beautiful! We did not want to leave!! The environment is so natural and authentic. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating! The villa is lovely and has everything you need including your own mate and bombilla. Right next door there is an animal reserve called Guiroga. The grounds are lovely to explore!

the staff is exceptional. They met every need timely and with a smile. The resort itself is beautiful and the restaurant delicious and serves healthy options. The room was ok. There was a heating issue (45F the nights we stayed) and the bathroom had strong sewer smell. The room could have been better maintained and a bit cleaner in my opinion. Also, the hotel recommended meco car rental for us but meco was not a good experience and offered very poor customer service.

This place was really special. You can tell that each lodge was created, decorated, and managed with care. We were so comfortable there. The staff members were so proactive and kind. They helped us so much with transportation, translations, local recommendations, everything! The hotel restaurant is a must! Everything we had there was delicious.

I will say, for my first experience staying at a lodge with my own individual unit, and in a subtropical region no less, I had a wonderful time staying at Overo. The units are smaller but very efficient A-frame cabins, and mine was certainly comfortable enough and it added to the overall experience of my stay. The lodge is close to the park to see Iguazu Falls and downtown Puerto Iguazu, which is perfect. The food and drinks were great and the service overall was excellent. The staff was very accommodating and I really enjoyed being able to communicate with them via WhatsApp. I did not use the pool(s) or spa at all, but I did go in the off-season. The cabins themselves also came with an electric kettle, plates/silverware/glasses, and a stove (yes, a fridge too) which was nice to have if needed. My only 4/5 star rating concerned the bathroom, which while perfectly functional, reminded me of an old camp grounds style of shower/toilet (concrete floor with drains). The shower was fine, but if any water made it past the shower curtain (which was pretty narrow), you could have some standing water around your toilet if it didn't dry up quickly. I had to wear shoes to the bathroom a few times when the time came. Not a huge deal if you are out and about, but it was a very small nuisance of mine. Overall though, my stay at Overo was excellent and I actually preferred it over another hotel I went to stay at in downtown Puerto Iguazu. I'm hoping to come back again one day!

From the moment we arrived until we left the stuff was exceptional! We were treated like royalties. I don’t remember the last time we had such a good food. I have to mention Carlos and Sabrina for their amazing service and stuff at the front desk. Highly recommended!!!

We had lovely 2 night stay, the villa was amazing and a lot of attention to detail including giving us chocolate bars because of Easter and small wood carvings. All the facilities are lovely. Dinner was incredible on both nights, however

This is a rustic, small property in the jungle. Staff and amenities are awesome. There is some noise from the main road and again, it is rustic. I highly recommend

It felt like a piece of history, you can imagine the coffee plantation that is now the lodge. It is very close to the Cataratas del Iguazu. The restaurant was excellent. And the service impeccable.

Super quick but relaxing stay. Loved being surrounded by the jungle. The setting was rustic chic. The staff were very friendly & professional. The pools were perfect after hot days spent walking at Iguazu Falls. The restaurant was very classy but a bit too stiff for us. The attention to detail was nice but we felt the ultra gourmet, complex menu offerings were too formal for the vibe of the lodge. Felt like we were being too closely watched while we were eating. A bit more relaxed food & vibe would have been better for us California folks but we appreciated the effort!

The little cabins are very comfortable and the service was excellent! But the most amazing part of our stay was the outstanding restaurant! All our meals were delicious and the service was excellent! We chose to have the Guaraní experience dinner on our last night and it was incredible! The dishes with the flavors of the local Guaraní tribe was an experience we will never forget!

The Overo Lodge has the best restaurant and staff. I would give it ten stars just for the restaurant itself. The chef has put together an amazing menu and staff. Regarding the rooms, they are rustic and our cabin #5 could definitely use a bathroom remodel.

A very nice place off the beaten path but near the centro and close to the park. Cabin was comfortable especially bed but bathroom could really use some updating even though it was clean it gave you the sense of not being. It was also very tiny barely room for toilet and small shower. Staff and service both excellent though and a vey nice big pool.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The rooms and facilities were perfect for a weekend getaway—clean, quiet, and beautifully maintained. The service was exceptional, with the staff consistently going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Even though our stay was brief, the team at Overo made us feel like old friends. The breakfast was delightful, and we especially loved having it delivered to our cottage. Dinner, however, was the highlight—it far exceeded our expectations. We were amazed by the gourmet meal presented in such a serene setting. Part of us wants to keep Overo a secret to ensure we can easily book our next stay, but it’s too wonderful not to share with the world. We can’t wait to return!
