My experience staying at the Urbanview Hotel Slipi Inn Palmerah (August 12–17).
I stayed at the Urbanview Hotel Slipi Inn Palmerah from August 12–17, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing from the moment I arrived.
Upon arrival, the reception staff were very unfriendly and unprofessional. They were serving guests while chewing their food. When I asked questions, the only responses were, "Huh?", "Yes?", or "Oh, yes."
I then asked, "Sir, can't you open the chain to let the car in?" The staff simply replied, "Huh? Oh, yes, but the security guard is having lunch."
I understood that it was probably break time, so I tried to understand and waited until check-in time.
However, when check-in time arrived, I was given room 109 and a key. Upon entering, I discovered that the room wasn't ready for use. The sheets and bed cover hadn't even been put up, as seen in the video I shared.
Even though I came to rest, my belongings had already been brought into the room, I had to wait even longer for the room to be prepared.
What made me even more disappointed was that I saw housekeeping relaxing on a video call in the lounge area near the hallway, while the room I was assigned wasn't ready yet.
I find this very disappointing for a hotel. I don't mind a slight delay, but the room should be completely ready before being released to a guest.
As for the receptionist service, I also hope that in the future the staff can be more friendly and professional. At the very least, they should greet guests well, speak politely, and provide clear information.
I'm not writing this review to discredit the hotel, but rather to share my real-life experience during my stay so that management can evaluate it.
Overall, my experience was quite disappointing.
