We were disappointed with our stay at The Armon in Stamford. The hot water took nearly five minutes to become lukewarm, we found dirty tissues under the sink, the Wi-Fi didn’t work in our room (4080), and the TV guide was useless with only a few channels functioning. Overall, the room felt poorly maintained and not up to basic hospitality standards.

The place has alot of potential but restaurant not open is a huge factor especially for the price i paid for a suite did not even include complimentary water some of the facilities like the steam room was dirty and the hot tube was broken no towels at the pool also a huge turn off until they improve some things i will not return nor recommend this hotel to anyone

Place was beautifull but i ask for a room near elevator because im chronic asthmatic n they didn't accommodate me

I was disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. The entire property feels extremely dated, from the decor to the amenities. The hallways had a persistent unpleasant smell, which was noticeable every time I walked through. Inside the room, things weren't much better—there were stains on the bed and walls, which made the space feel unclean and poorly maintained. The walls are paper-thin, so I could hear everything happening in neighboring rooms, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep. To top it off, the parking payment machine was broken when I tried to leave, which caused a frustrating delay. Overall, this hotel needs significant updates and better maintenance. I would not recommend staying here unless improvements are made.

Jucuzzi was broken. No breakfast. In room coffee pot was broken and front desk staff was rude

I had to have my room changed as the tv wouldn't turn on. Later that evening the tv in the second room stopped working. Also the rooms had a very different set of toiletries???. The parking deck had a pretty low clearance. The truck went under the clearance bar but scrapped going over a speed bump. I think the restaurant was closed. It didn't look open. Also has rooms thatface into the inside so view is the other rooms/lobby. I felt a lack of privacy.

Nice place

The property was lovely. My room was very spacious, one of the largest rooms I’ve ever had. The facility is huge, probably whole city block. Be prepared to carry you luggage

Such a great place, the main floor had a beautiful large space with different sitting options. Plenty of parking . Everyone was kind and pleasant. Pablo at front desk was very helpful and very nice among others . We stayed for 4 nights and will definitely do it again

Awful stay. There are no drinking water fountains, neither is drinking water provided. The property is very dingy. And the customer service is terrible - they wouldn’t deliver a package to your room

This is a big hotel that looks fancy but was a ghost town and had seen better days - in some areas is smells of it’s smoke filled past. Both revolving doors were broken, I really needed help with luggage but they inexplicably have no bellhops - I was sent to a filthy cart room with a broken piano. Room was freezing with locked out thermostat. Crappy failing couch in room. Parking area sketchy needed sweeping. Parking machine failed to give receipt. Housekeeping had not set clock was off 6 hours. It’s ok if you want to save money but don’t book it for a nice hotel experience. Two good notes - front desk lady was very nice and the walking shower with high pressure no complaints.

This place doesn't feel like its core purpose is to be a hotel serving the general public. The website touting is as a luxury experience is wildly off. It feels like an extra large Motel 6. At one time, when it was the Crowne Plaza, it may have approached luxury, but today it is a tired, empty husk. I would love to see it come back.
