The staff were some of the best people we have ever met. They made the entire place feel like home and treated us like family.

Absolutely loved staying here and definitely would recommend this hotel to all. A real gem! Outstanding service by all staff. Stunning decor throughout the hotel/resort. Beautifully designed rooms that are comfortable. Great sleep. They even have an elevator for guests to go one floor up. Lots of open indoor and outdoor spaces to relax in. Beautiful pool, and beach area. Great food. Even have gluten-free sugar-free options and are very flexible with your desired meal plans. They even surprised me with a gluten free/sugar free birthday cake. Only stayed for 3 nights but had the best relaxing experience. The staff and manager are all wonderful and treat you like family. Definitely would love to come back here in the future and don’t miss your opportunity when choosing hotels - stay here and have a fantastic vacation.

This is a unique and beautiful property - if you’re looking to relax, be pampered and eat amazing food in a beautiful picturesque location, Kayaam House is a must. I never write reviews, but I felt compelled to. While it is located in a more remote area (and you may need assistance with the hotel transportation to get to the main roads), the remoteness is worth it.

Our stay at Kayaam House was amazing. Out of the hotels we stayed around Sri Lanka this one was the best, none are compared to Kayaam House. The property is beautiful, amenities are great and the beach is wonderful. The service was amazing, from the check, the spa, the property manager, everyone was very special and kind. It's one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. If you're looking for a hotel in this area look no further. 100% recommended!!!

Wow. Truly exceptional in every regard. My wife and I stayed here in June and couldn't be happier. This is a high end boutique hotel right on the beach. It's very new, yet has a sense of refined history with it's antiques melded with a very modern yet welcoming design. Just 9 rooms, so you feel a sense of space, whilst having the super attentive staff attend your every need. The food is a standout with Chef Numal creating the most flavorsome Sri Lankan cuisine for us (we're both vegan) that would be at home in any fine dining establishment. The rooms are beautiful, well equipped with a colonial luxe feel with a contemporary twist. I especially like the balcony (overlooking the pool and ocean) outdoor bath. The on site spa was great, and the public areas have plenty of inviting places to sit and read, relax, whatever. We didn't leave the hotel during our stay, nor did we want to. My only regret is not staying longer. Next time we will.

We loved our stay at Kayaam House. It is a beautifully designed small hotel, in front of the most stunning beach. The infinity pool is one of the best I’ve ever seen - long and deep with a view to the sea. Our room has a wide terrace with a bath tub, so you could bathe outdoors. The food was delicious, cooked to order by a talented chef. Finally, the staff were amazing - incredibly friendly and efficient. We hope to visit again soon.

Beautiful hotel with good food and friendly staff. However the prices of the food en drinks menu are misleading: you should add 10% service taxes and 20% government taxes, which makes the restaurant quite expensive.
