Loved it! This is now my go-to when at Carolina Beach.

I did not like staying in a facility w no staff. When you elect a non smoking stay the hotel should not be cleaned while cleaning lady smokes. I did not like having to put my credit card online to check into my room whole paying in advance. I avoid on line credit card whenever possible After i did it i got an enail from Expedia telling me never to put it in! The lady cleaning did work hard but there was no contact. I was in room 12 and cigarette smoke woke me at 4;30 am. Maybe the cleaning scent wore off then or the neighbors woke up? I did appreciate the effort made to restore an old (retro) property rather than tear it down!

Can't beat this location! Easy to check in, friendly staff, cute room and very accessible to board walk, beach, dining, etc. Appreciated the access to use the pool from the partnered location. Great stay for a weekend.

The rooms are updated with very cute decor. The desk manager went out of her way to help us with various requests. It is conveniently located to the beach boardwalk, restaurants, etc. However, there was dust in corners and hair on bath tiles. The room is very small. The bathroom shower was paint over tile, and the paint was chipped in large chunks. When new batteries were put in the door lock, our key codes stopped working.

This place is not fancy, but it is clean, safe, and in a very convenient location to the boardwalk.

Had a great one night stay , only issue was unit 4 had a slow shower drain , when showering . Other than that everything else was great ! Walking distance to beach and restaurants . An ice machine would be a great add to the stay . I would stay there again : )

Convenient and amenities near bye. Ease of access to beach and shops.

The location was perfect. Right across from the boardwalk and a block from the beach. The room was nice and clean. The bathroom and shower was very small. There wasn’t a microwave. It did have a nice small refrigerator that worked good. Could see the fireworks from the balcony of our room. It would’ve been nice to have a pool. But all and all it was a nice place to get away and relax.

This place is a true gem! It’s one of the most affordable motels in Carolina Beach, but that doesn’t mean it’s not fantastic! It’s extremely close to the boardwalk and beach access. Recent renovations have made the rooms beautiful and themed to the beach. I only two complaints; there’s no microwave, and the shower head is a little low on the wall. If you plan ahead, or don’t usually care about microwaves, it’s okay! And, while I’m 6’1”, I made do with the shower just fine! I’ll definitely be back again; this motel is perfect for a weekend getaway!

Check-in was all done online and went very smoothly. The room is open and very clean with themed murals on the walls and extremely comfortable beds

First, this place won’t be for everyone. It was great for my wife and I, as these are the type of places we like. If you’re looking for everything perfect, this isn’t the place for you. However, if you’re looking for a fun, modern, neat little place, this is it. It was clean and put together well. The location is great with lots of places to eat right by, and quick beach access. I can see how it may be a little loud at night, but again this doesn’t bother my wife and I. Communication with office was very well. We would stay here again

The Starlite Inn was a great place to stay for the weekend. It’s conveniently located near the boardwalk, beach, and numerous restaurants. The staff was very helpful and made sure we were comfortable. We will be staying here again. 10/10

The property has been recently renovated. Great location in the middle of the boardwalk. Staff is extremely helpful and polite. We have already booked our next trip.

Good location. Close to the beach

Beautiful reno of a retro motel. Management was super excellent communication. The only issue was the shower - it was literally the worst pressure and thus the worst shower I’ve ever had in my life. The plumbing is obviously not renovated.
