Eould definitely come back, my only complain was a staff member that made me walk down the stairs with my heavy bags. I understand the mojo if you are without luggage, but not with bags. I told other staff member at front desk that was not right.

What really surprised me was that a place called “Sleep Station” doesn’t even provide a proper blanket or comforter. All they offered were a bath towel and a thin sheet. I couldn’t sleep well because it was too cold, and I ended up having to buy a blanket from Target—only to throw it away later because it was too bulky for my luggage. Other than that, the bathroom lights are too environmentally friendly. They automatically shut off after just one or two minutes, so I had to fumble around in the dark to turn them back on multiple times while showering. Toward the end of my stay, I just gave up and got used to showering in the dark. That said, the place is clean, the staff is friendly, and I really appreciate that they enforce a quiet policy so everyone can get some rest.

Definitely got the job done and then some for my one night in NYC. Bed was fine enough and the facilities were clean and quiet. Would stay at again.

I like the concept, the bedding needs work starting with the blankets, they’re not comfortable, the outlets in my pod didn’t work for me, overall, lots of friendly faces, the atmosphere pretty good, just wish i could check in early…

I like the common area and the idea of having a private bathroom per room. I also liked the quiet hours from 9pm to 9 am. The location is perfect as it is close to many places to eat and walking distance to Central Park, the subway, and other attractions. I did not like the check in. I never interacted with a human during my one night stay there. Everything was done by phone. I also did not like the tiny light inside the pod. It barely provided light. I also did not like the tiny fan in the pod. It was too loud. It would be better if there was a central air conditioner in the room instead of individual tiny fans in each pod. Overall, I would stay there again because of the cleanliness, location, and price.

Very straightforward. You pay for what you get. Very simple sleep and go. It has everything a person really needs. Bed blanket shower towel even fan and light for the unit. Small common kitchenette with water fountain. Wireless charging available. Get your own breakfast food.

Beds were not comfortable, bed frames were shaky and loud. Not ideal for shared spaces.

This was my second time staying there, and I will definitely be back anytime I'm doing solo, short-term travel to NYC. The location is excellent, it feels safe and well run, and the kitchen (with fridge, dishes, microwave, good filtered water, etc.) are things you won't get in NYC hotels that are much more expensive (I speak from experience). If you're good with a safe, quiet bunk in a shared room, this is an excellent option.
