Great stay. Victor was a fantastic help with checking in, meeting us at our car to grab our bags and directing us to their private parking. He also secured a dinner reservation at a great restaurant next door. One of the best dinners we had on our French vacation.

Great find, super location, friendly, helpful team and a beautiful place. We stayed overnight, but will extend for our next visit, we loved Honfleur.

Absolutely amazing stay. The location could not be better right in the centre of the old town area. The surrounding area had endless shops, cafes and restaurants in amazingly picturesque buildings. Victor could not do enough to ensure our stay was special. We had breakfast at the hotel and it was beautiful fresh local produce and bakery items. Victor also suggested some places for dinner and we were amazed at the quality of the food and the very reasonable prices at all of them. We would love to come again.

Our stay at L’Abstinthe Hotel was brilliant, we had a beautiful room and exceptional service from the staff, who were extremely friendly and happy to help at all times. Only stayed for 1 night and wished we’d had longer! Would love to visit again

Quiet and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and attentive. It’s good that they have their own car park, even though it is a five minute walk away. Breakfast was good and it was quiet at night. We would certainly return.

Victor was exceptionally helpful. This is a small and very good hotel on the harbor with many restaurants and shops nearby.

Great service and atmosphere! A little noisy at night if you’re a light sleeper.

Hotel was easy to find and is in a very central location. Private parking was just a short walk away. Upon check in with Victor who is really friendly, we were shown to our ground floor room which was charming and spacious. The bathroom was huge and really well equipped with bath and walk-in shower, plenty of towels and a modern decor. Victor suggested we dine at the restaurant L’Escale situated right next door which turned out to be an excellent choice and great atmosphere. Food was superb and our server was very attentive. I would definitely stay at l’Absinthe again when I visit the vibrant town of Honfleur as I could find no fault with the hotel, location and service.

Our stay at L’Absinthe Hotel was wonderful. The location in the heart of Honfleur harbor with dozens of smart cafés, restaurants and boutiques cannot be matched. The hotel itself is incredibly charming and comfortable. The owner, Victor, as well as the rest of the staff were very warm and welcoming. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

We did not understand that the room we were allocated would not be part of the main hotel. Parking was far away and getting our bags to the room was quite difficult. That night directly below our room, room 9 was a party going on in an open roofed area with a large getto blaster. We did not get to sleep until midnight. Breakfast the following morning was disappointing for 15 euros.

Great old hotel, property is nice. You are smack dab in the middle of tourist ville so it can be pretty noisy. Location can’t be beat, I mean you are right in the heart of it.

After a delayed flight we almost arrived too late to check but the host at front desk called to check on our arrival then helpedwith our bags and even managed to get us the last table at the amazing restaurant next door for their last seating. Perfect location and loved walking and exploring the next morning. Would love to go back!

Wonderful stay in Honfleur! Victor at reception was so incredibly friendly and helpful with parking, dinner recommendations and information. He alone made it a great visit. Hotel and restaurant have different owners now and hotel is small but worth it on harbor and in the midst of old town.

The location by the main harbor is amazing. You can literally walk out the entrance of the hotel and start to shop or eat. The trade off is the lack of onsite parking. There is a wonderful secure parking area for the hotel but it requires you to walk 600meters. Victor, the concierge was very helpful and the rooms were very clean. Lights on
