Beautiful building. Outstanding rooms and location. The staff were as professional, friendly and efficient as they come. And a great bartender.

Fantastic hotel with lovely staff that couldn’t do enough for you. The facility is wonderful with lots of character, but still felt modern at the same time. My only gripe would be that there was no pool on the rooftop terrace.

Beautiful property in a very walkable part of Porto. The breakfast was AMAZING and the staff were so friendly. We did a mother daughter trip and loved being able to sit on the balcony off our room or at the rooftop bar and enjoy some wine and the sunset in the evening.

The property is very charming! The room is very nice, spacious and clean. We enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff were very kind overall. They left us chocolates and port wine on the first day when we got back to our room. It was a very sweet gesture to welcome us. A few comments: 1- The property does not view the river, so the pictures are a bit misleading on Expedia. Even the roof, did not view the river. It is very close to the river, a couple of minutes you walk out. 2- When ordering breakfast, they offer cappuccino and latte, but we did not know the first couple of days, so ask for it, in case they just ask you if you want coffee or tea. They also have pancakes and different eggs that they can prepare for you in the kitchen, so ask for it. 3- The location is a bit uphill which is nice, but be prepared in case you have elderly.

Good boutique hotel - nice rooms - difficult access up a hilly street but a good price/ quality option in Porto

Hotel is BEAUTIFUL! It is close to boardwalk but at the same time it is in a secluded area away from noise. We loved the hotel and our room was huge with a seating area and plenty of closet space. Bathroom was also big with a separate area for toilet and shower. We highly recommended this hotel.

Pleasant hotel with very good staff. Rooms and beds are small. Breakfast ok but not amazing. Location for me was the big negative. Difficult to access for cars so have to carry/drag suitcase down narrow cobblestone road. Quiet but not that handy to key tourist locations. Didn’t feel that safe in narrow alleys walking alone afterhours.

Five-star service in a hidden location. The hotel has beautifully renovated a historic structure: the stone arches in the lobby are beautiful and atmospheric, with charming sitting areas for drinks. Rooms are modern with good beds and showers. Nice rooftop bar. Friendly staff. Plentiful breakfast buffet. A short walk to the Ribeira area with lots of restaurants etc. But the location is rather strange — down an alley that is marked as closed to vehicle access. Drivers with experience know to drive up to the entrance, but both our taxi and the Uber my sister took when we arrived didn’t know how to access the hotel and dropped us and our luggage in a random street about a block away. Other than that strange experience, it was a wonderful stay.

A really lovely hotel in a great spot. The staff were very friendly, the restaurant great, especially the wine dinner. Getting to it my car was a bit scary with very narrow street but all part of the charm.

Pretty hotel situated high above the sea offering wonderful sea views from the second and third floors. Staff was very nice. You could walk to town but it was a distance, so uber is the way to go. Rooms are very comfortable and clean and breakfast very good.

We arrived during the national power cut. The hotel staff were very calm and reassuring. They were very helpful and made our stay very enjoyable and couldn't have been more helpful. They left a bottle of wine in our room for a birthday celebration which was a lovely gesture. Would recommend the hotel to anyone. It is nearby all the local sights and restaurants.
