Spent a wonderfully relaxing couple of days at the Canterbury Inn. The hotel is very comfortable (we were in the very large bedroom #9) and the gardens are delightful. Be sure to check them out and spend some time there in the sun (if possible). The breakfast was excellent and the staff extremely friendly. We walked into town every day and discovered more and more each time. Don't miss a trip to the Museum (very interesting and engaging) and we also walked out to Peller Estates & Winery (about 30 minutes) for lunch on the last day - highly recomended!

The stay was great. Beautiful property with lovely garden in back. Breakfast was convenient and quite satisfactory to start the day. Great for biking wineries in the area and short walk into town.

This is the first time we stayed there. What a little gem! The place was spotless with a beautiful and peaceful garden in the back with Adirondak chairs and quiet waterfall. Breakfast was included with yummy banana and peach and mango liaf sluces. Simple but hit the spot

The room is not very big. That is not necessarily bad just to be aware. The pillow on the bed was moldy. There is no one around when we were so couldn't let anyone know. It is clean and in a quiet neighborhood. That is really nice! The people were friendly!

Beautiful place. The exterior was charming with a lot of flowers as was the garden out back. The rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was good with enough choices for a pleasant start to the day. Staff was very accommodating. Excellent stay all around.

Very friendly!

The Canterbury Inn is a lovely place to stay. A very easy walk to the main shopping area of Niagara-on-the-lake. Also located near bike trails and wineries. The room was clean and bright and my only complaint would be the mattress on the bed. It would literally sink down as you slept during the night and cause an uncomfortable morning. I’m not sure if all the beds there have the same mattress so this may not be typical of all rooms. Overall, I was happy with my choice to stay.

This is a wonderful gem. It is pleasant,quiet and so clean. The staff are very kind and helpful. We would return in a heartbeat.

Everything was just perfect from the bed to the cleanliness of the room, quiet & great breakfast!
