Really loved the breakfast daily - the coff÷ was especially great! The rooms were comfy, and overall quiet. Parking was free and convenient. Hotel staff was awesome and very helpful. If we are ever in Kingston again this would be our place!

Great staff. Air conditioning system (unit) noisy. Good offering for breakfast but the food ( eggs, meats, potatoes) were at best warm.

I arrived Saturday afternoon and found the front desk staff warm and friendly. The hotel is clean and comfortable with a nice seating area adjacent to the front desk. The room was clean and comfortable. The bedding was clean and good quality and there was 4 full size pillows on the bed. There was an extra pillow and blanket in the closet. I was pleased to see real mugs and glasses rather then the small plastic or ti y paper takeout cups that have become to common. Bathroom had good quality liquid hand soap and lotion in glass bottles as well as refillable containers of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Breakfast is in a small dining room in the newer section of the hotel Staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was good and there was a great selection. While this was a very short visit. I had a great nice sleep and a good breakfast before heading home. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family visiting Kingston.

Historical buildings and well manicured grounds. Surrounded by trees and close to Lake Ontario. The halls and reception give a feeling of comfort and class.

Wonderful stuff for the most part, except for a strange racist encounter with an older male staff member in the dining hall, with a dark complexion and wearing a hat on July 15th. He continued to stare at my mother up and down as though she was not to be at that hotel. The rest of the staff was pleasant and very welcoming! Services do need to be updated like the tv remote not working in the room, and tub without the proper drain (anything can get sucked in), also there was an odd odour in the main floor close to the dining area. Second time coming, service again excellent but would not be coming again due to the poor maintenance of certain areas/things of the hotel.

The grounds are amazing, safe neighborhood. Breakfast was good no brown bag lol. Close to the water, about a 20 min walk. Dont like that the, A/C in my room wasn't as cool as home. But they did supply a fan in the room. All doors are marked emergancy exit. Meaning you have to walk all the way back to the one door! Im a private guy so having to pass the front desk with our fake smiles got tiring.

Pleasantly surprised at the value and amenities. Great location, 5 min to downtown. Included breakfast and parking are a bonus. Delicious hot buffet breakfast.

Comfortable bed, nice sheets, great pillows, but it is an older facility and it was expensive at over $200 a night

The hotel is quiet, safe, and has lots of above ground parking. It isn't close to downtown, but walking distance to Kingston Pen and harbour. Free buffet breakfast was great. Room was clean but had an odd smell from the A/C.

A great spot to stay at that's not too far from Queen's University and the downtown area. They have free parking on-site, but it's still a reasonable walk to main campus and downtown area or a short bus ride away, if you don't have a car. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast buffet and the staff were so attentive. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Kingston.
